I have lived here close to two years and am familiar with both it and the history. The present manager does very well with what she has to work with; many live here full time, including several people and families who are in transition. Last year the outdoor pool was resurrected and in Arizona this was greatly appreciated. The manager lives here full time with her young family so she has her hands full, but despite this she does admirably in covering all that needs to be done. She has established a community watch program that is staffed entirely by volunteers, most of whom are veterans and are very diligently keeping suspect people out as well as giving tenants a place to bring any concerns about personal and property safety. These people drive and walk through the park at all hours; the program has been very successful and could benefit from a paid coordinator. There is also a volunteer run community garden which is very popular,a paid resident gardener would make it even better. Warts? The laundry room needs a redo, and newer machines. This is also true of the rest rooms and shower facilities.

UNSAFE. Frankly, I am surprised that there are any positive reviews about this place. I see most of them are from tenants and the manager so dont put much stake in them. We arrived a little after 8pm, just passing through on our way back to Alabama. We set up our tent while people were looking us and our stuff over the whole time. Its right on the main road. A lot of foot traffic. Tons of junk and broken down RVs all around. Restrooms were nasty and smelled like sewage. The final straw was when two tweeker dudes came up to us and tried to sell us drugs, they were twitching and scratching and looking at all our stuff on our trailer. SCARY. And theres no type of security at all. WE FEARED FOR OUR LIVES. We packed up our tent and ended up at Hualapei Mtn Park (very nice!!). We called Preston, the manager, the next morning and told him what happened. He refused to give our $15 back and was not concerned or apologetic at all. He was even talking about "rolling a joint" to someone else while I was on the phone with him! TWILIGHT ZONE.

I have stayed here for two months; however, it is time to move on. The Circle-S Campground/RV Park is under new management, whom has been very busy cleaning up, not only the restrooms but the clientele. The young man in charge of revitalizing this park is a kind, caring individual, who has taken this challenge head on. He will bend over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. I would recommend this as a reasonable alternative to the more expensive parks in the area. It is a safe, wholesome atmosphere, unlike the conditions of the past. This is a great place, for overnight, or the season, I will be back. – Mike Q.

Absolutely filthy and it stinks. For starters, when you enter the office area, the couch and love seat were covered with filthy sheets, the office cage was in total disarray. The electric post was broken and standing more or less at 45 a degree angle and the sewer was missing the cap... stinky again. Looks like a lot of broken down full timers live there with junk all around. And then she wanted to charge us $30-some dollars. We did not and would not ever stay there. Went to Zuma Village. MUCH NICER.

Has been 6 months with Internet not working properly with a myriad of excuses from management from taking care of children so they could not make a 5 min trip up the street to having to spend 15 min on computer to blaming owner etc etc , I inspected the lines to trouble shoot and offered to help and even buy the equipment I had to call the service company myself to come out and look. I have spend hundreds of dollars on alternative internet which is listed as a provided utility.

Traveling thru AZ from CA. Stopped at Kingman for the night. Circle S is more of a permanent trailer park than a campground. Several areas to pitch tents, few to hook up a small trailer. No attendant available although we arrived 2 hours before the posted closing time. Very poorly maintained. Bathrooms were dirty, appeared unattended to with graffiti. This is not a traveler friendly stop. Advise the KOA down the street less than 2 miles away. Very scary place.

Arrived late evening after the office closed. We tried to do the late registration, but there was no pen to write with, nor a site plan we could find. It seemed primarily a residential site, but we found a gap in the tent area after dark and boondocked there. We paid $15 by envelope in the morning and left before the office reopened. Quiet site, near Walmart and convenient to get back on I40 for US93.

Nice Managers, dogs OK, real people live here. Places for tents and tent trailer, RV. They dont discriminate which is hard to find these days. Everyone keeps it clean. Everyone has been friendly. Showers, bathroom, pool. I like it here even though its just temporary for me. No cable though. I bought an antenna and got some free channels.

I hope the new management does far better than the old one. This town needs to have more nicer places to stay at. The old management set up people he didnt like by leaving bad things by their trailers. Or start rumors of drug paraphernalia or using such things. Never fixing up the place but would try to get you to pay extra attention

The manager fails to remove trouble makers in a timely manner. Residents have been assaulted by other residents and the assaulted is still there. Residents use drugs such as prescriptions and illegal narcotics. Police are there on a regular basis. Youd be better staying at Zuni or KOA, even WalMart parking lot.

I live here and I love it. Management is friendly, nice people live in the park. No more druggies and the grounds are well kept. Not to mention super reasonable prices. $325 a month all utilities included.

This park has improved 1000% over past visits. Atmosphere is friendly and wholesome. Management has done a terrific job cleaning up and is always available. Much better than previous.

Very clean. Manegment is very nice. The only thing that would make this place better is to have a 50 amp breaker instead of just a 30 amp one
