Jason doesnt know what he is talking about. The bare spots were left over winter kill that all the courses around here suffered this year. Water pooled in the fairways and then froze, duh, that kills Bermuda. Absolutely nothing you can do about it. You were being stalked by a ranger........you know, one of those guys who keeps traffic moving so the rest of us dont have to suffer thru a 5 hour round caused by idiots driving carts thru sandtraps and too close to the greens because they are to absorbed by all the beer they have been drinking. Golf doesnt have to be an all day event if you know what you are doing............and rangers are there to gently educate the novices about pace of play. The staff is great. Period. I am guessing that Jason couldnt break 90 on a putt-putt course.

If I could have given this place a zero I would have. I was there with my wife and 8 year old daughter checking out the driving range and putting area to see if it would have been a nice course to take my father when he comes in from out of town. As we walked around the back area near the garage to get back to my car to leave an older man in a marshall golf cart accosted us in a very rude tone. He treated me as if I were a juvenile delinquent when in fact I am a man in my 30s there with my family. I have decided to keep taking my father to golf courses in Brentwood and Nashville where we are treated as customers that want our business. Cheers!

This city course is the course I like when I feel like walking the course. It is an 18 hole course and has a 9 hole par 3 course also. There is a Foot Golf course witch I have not checked out yet. They offer a Senor Rate here. The staff is somewhat helpful but does not seem to be interested in getting to know you. But all in all it is a nice course to play if you want to just jump on without a tee time.

Terribly maintained, boring design or lack thereof. Weeds and bare spots everywhere on May 23. Weird guy stalked us from a golf cart for a couple of holes. I gave the 2nd star only because it is so crappy that even on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and perfect weather, everyone knows to just go play in the crowds elsewhere. So, never a crowd to deal with!!

I play there regularly. Greens are small, so not easy to reach. That is good. The greens are extremely well kept. That is good. The staff is great. That is good. So what is bad? They have way too many "cart path only" days. Not so great for seniors. Not at all.

Fairways are poor. Greens are good. Bunkers are so so. Not enough grounds crew to maintain this place. Nice layout but overpriced for the condition. Lots of courses around with Old Fort easily being the best public course at virtually the same price.

Didnt have a tee time. The staff was very helpful working me in without hardly any wait. The greens were in excellent shape too. If you need a place to play Smyrna will not disappoint.

Great local course thats fun and pretty cheap. Can get slow play on weekends, but really youre outside, playing golf, and having a good time.

Decent course, really crowded lots of the time, some of the grass is dead but other then that its a great course.
