Mac Harris

Knoxville Municipal is a poor excuse for a golf course. The greens are decent and the employees are nice and friendly. The course itself stinks. The cart paths are terrible, close to non-navigable in some cases. The hole signage is faded and unreadable, the tees are poorly marked and poorly maintained. Distances are inaccurate. Most fairways apparently have no drainage. There appears to be little to no direction for aesthetics or appearance. It is time to spend some money to at least bring it up to average.

We took a road trip and needed to get out of the car. This place was conveniently located for us. It was in the afternoon, on a holiday weekend, and we were able to get right on the course! The staff was extremely friendly. The course was perfect for me (a beginner) and my friend (an experienced golfer) The course was clearly marked. The greens were in great shape. The price cant be beat! If this were close to our home, we would play this course regularly! Great experience!

Very nice staff, the driving paths have been repaired and new contrary to other reviews. Leave your driver in the car because the coarse is short, narrow and challenging. The par 5s are reachable with a 3 wood and is a lot of fun. The only negative is dealing with the answering service to make a tee time. Be prepared to give them your life story for a security clearance to access the club. They really need to simplify the process!

Staff were friendly and assisted folks as needed. We were here for a junior match and the cart rental was by far the most reasonable of any course weve visited for 18 holes. Course was clean and well taken care of in terms of clubhouse, fairways and greens. Golfers must be able to play straight as the fairways are tree lined and a little narrow compared to most courses.

Just passing through....hopped off I-75 on our way back to Florida and hubby and I played 18. The folks running the place were so nice....loved the course...lots of fun slopes and hills :). Hope to be able to stop again sometime!

Played today. Course was over crowded, we teed off at 9 even though we had a 8:30 tee time. And then didnt finish until 2:20 with no stopping. There was no one particularly slow group. Just total traffic jam.

Course is well kept...but they alloe people to play without tee times and sometimes run out of carts for those who did reserve. They also let walkers sloe up course on weekends. Still love it

Garbage service at desk. Called today and the lady there gave me a one word response and hung up halfway through my question. Never coming here, and do not recommend.
