I am so disappointed. It was our first time at Bside since they left old city. At the beginning of the night the security and staff that we encountered were pleasant. We ordered bottle service to celebrate a friends birthday. The venue is very spacious to the point it was fairly empty the majority of the time we were there.. Towards the end of the evening there was one security person by our section (who, by the way was not doing his job, but instead dancing and flirting the entire time) just was overly aggressive for no reason with my husband. It was toward the end of the night we are grooving, dancing and singing...which I thought was the whole point of going to a nightclub. There was ample walking space for people to get around us and the security tells my husband he needs to go back in our section, he calls over another security person and for the remainder of the time we were there made us feel uncomfortable as they just stared at us to make sure we wouldnt have a good time. It was unnecessary. I mean he was intoxicated like everyone else, but he did not bump into anyone, he was not disrespectful...all he was doing was dancing. I guess Bside expects their patrons to be stiff and not try to enjoy the music, drinks and atmosphere. I will not be going back. They should have stayed in old city. Spend your money at a place that will encourage you to enjoy your night out.

Worst serice I have ever experienced. The cover charge was $20 and they dont tell you that you have to spend another $500(minimum) in bottle service to even get a place to sit. So you and fighting for a seat or standing roon at the bottle to smoke your hookah or eat any food.waited 30 minutes to get 2 very weak ciroc and pineapple mixed drinks which were $26...then waited another 30 minutes to get my hookah order taken at the bar which wasnt rang up so I ended up having to go to another bar/waitress to get the hookah order taken again. Then try to find a place to smoke the hookah. No one was dancing because the entire middle of the place is reserved for the $500 tabs. I wouldnt suggest you go unless you are planning on spending at least $1000, that may be the only way you get service.

They have a cover charge thats $10 for women but $15 for men, which is just whack. Is this a college party? Everything there is extremely over priced, just like every other sketchy hookah establishment. Their food is bad and tastes like its been microwaved. They charge $100 just to reserve ONE TABLE, and that isnt including the cover or any drinks or food you might want to order. Do they think theyre some high class club? Their TVs were playing weird swimsuit model videos for an hour before they switched it to some basketball game. And of course theyre cash only / dont take cards where you pay the cover, so youre forced to use the ATM that charges you $3.00. Youre better off buying your own damn hookah and just chilling someplace on your own.

Horrible experience. 1st bouncer placed our 21 bands on the right side once we got upstairs to get drinks the 2nd bouncer literally yelled at my girls and I saying we have to go back down stairs or he can excourt us out to our car in a very rude way.. Once we got down stairs my girl friend was trying to explain the situation to bouncer #3 and bouncer #4 just came out of nowhere and said "he wouldnt say that dont listen to them... Feeling EXTREMELY disrespect my girls and I called a cab because honestly being from NYC I NEVER had bouncers treat people in such a rude way!!! Horrible 30 mins of my life.. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone..!!!! The owner should definitely reconsider hiring better staff.

Not sure why these guys think they should be running a restaurant/hookah lounge. First, they charge a $15 cover without informing us that we would need to spend a minimum of $100 if we wanted a table. After waiting for 30 mins, the table charge went from $50 minimum, $150 minimum back to $100 minimum. The table prices appear to be more unstable than the New York stock exchange. We finally settled for a hookah (cherry and mint) and chicken wings while standing at the bar. Needless to say, the hookah was all smoke and no flavor. I have smoked in many places in philly and this felt like daylight robbery. People all around us were coughing from the crappy hookah. Wont be going back...ever!

Great night club to have fun in old city. Hip hop , rb , old school mix. The hookah flavors are awesome. You can mix flavors which is the best part. It does get crowed so if you plan on wanting a table get there early. No big beer selection. The service is great they really kept asking us if we were OK and needed anything else. One thing is be prepared to be a good amount of cash cause it can expensive. Overall great atmosphere for the night life.

Pretty standard looking bar. Went on a slow Sunday night, they charged a $20 cover. Wasnt allowed to sit at a table because I didnt have bottle service, despite the fact that less than a third of the tables were occupied. Finished my drink and left 15 minutes later.

They started with the line to get past security then another unorganized line to get into the club. Got yelled at by security super unorganized ! Once in the bartenders were so drunk themselves customer service was invisible at least the music was good !

Hookah lounge or not, how do you have an establishment without a bar menu or food menu is preposterous! It makes it easier for them to charge us whatever they want. Unbelievable. This is absolute bombardment!

From the moment u get past security to pay to get in. Disrespectful as staff. F This place. Over priced as alcohol, food was all deep-fried, oil still dropping on the plate. Smh I want a refund
