You would never expect the variety or the selection of fresh water fish when you walk in based on the humble exterior. I was blown away. They even have an African Cichlid section, which had the more ACs then any store in the Tri State area. S, M, L, even XL. I was helped by Devon who was really knowledgeable and patient, being as though he had so many questions about the store and there inventory. The owner even offered me an unbelievable offer that I will that I will take him up on next week on a tank ornament. Needless to say, the money I will save on gas is going into the tank. Great prices and selection. Wish I would have found out they were still around sooner.

Ive never had a bad experience here yet. In fact, my 2 fish became very sick a few months ago and their fish guru, Jerry, was an angel. He went above and beyond to help me get my fish healthy again. The only cons: they sell kittens without doing a background check to make sure the people taking them will care for them properly. I worry for the little guys. And the prices are often higher than the chains. A clearance section would be awesome! (I love a bargain but then again its close and customer service makes it worthwhile).

About six months ago we got a 55-gallon aquarium kit and some fish to start it out a few weeks after getting the water conditioned. We have not had a single problem with the fish or supplies that we bought here. I also called today about a problem we are having the the syphon thing to clean the gunk out of the crushed coral and they had good advice. They have much better knowledge about fish than the big box stores (IE: PetSmart) and stand behind their products.

World Wide has everything I need in a pet store, including helpful employees who actually care about whether Im getting what I want/need when I shop there. No independent store like WW is ever going to beat the "big box" stores in terms of having the lowest prices on everything. But life is too short to drive all the way out to the Northeast or Plymouth Meeting and get little or no personalized service from a big box store just to (maybe) save a couple bucks.

Definitely best place for anything that you would need! Im not going to go anywhere else anymore, Employees are great super attentive but at the same time know how to let someone just look great variety and will get you anything that they dont have as soon as they can check out the pet candles they really work for more than just pet odors the place really makes you feel like part of the family! If you havent been here check this place out!]

AS A (FORMER) WORKER. THIS IS TO William Siravo. I GET SICK.you GET SICK. FISH GET SICK. they die within 4 days bc ur tank isnt right ur water levels are not correct. the water of our tanks are tested daily if they look sick we cure the tank and we dont sell them till they are able to sell. out of all the fish why would we sell u the bad one??. jerry can solve any fish issue. he really is a fish guru

Hey! This is not a bad pet store! The people are very very nice and helpful. I have been going there for 4-5 years and I find that they are very informative about what is good for your animals - especially dogs (I have 2 beagles). This is a great neighborhood pet store and I think they carry pretty much everything including crickets, fish, kittens and all kinds of other things!

I fell in love with a rat and said I wished to buy him. I made it very clear I was buying the rat. I went down the isle to get food and bedding. When I got back to the counter, just a few moments later, the staff sold him....as food. A horrible and disturbing experiance. Smaller shops are supposed to give better service. I cant even imagine why or how anyone could be so cruel.

Very helpful and friendly mom n pop pet shop..their prices are a little steep but ill pay it bc if I ever hav a problem they replace or give me a discount on another one so I just look at the extra few dollars as a warranty lol..very knowledgeable on almost all types of animal which I love ne question will be answered and correctly

Great local business and great selection of fish. They have more variety than the big pet stores. I found their power filters and supplies are cheaper than the chains. I always love to support local businesses especially ones like this that offer great products and friendly service.

The owner of the place is awesome and very helpful and his staff as well. If they dont have what you specifically want the owner will make a few calls right there and then and make sure hell have it for you asap. Best pet store around the Philadelphia area for sure.

Pricey, dirty, indifferent staff, limited selection. I miss Martins of Jenkintown, which was forced out of business by the chains. My friends and I used to go every week as a kid, but they closed without notice. We were shocked and disappointed.

Awesome pet store. Way more variety of fish than the big chains and they actually take care of the fish, unlike the chains which just dump fish into tanks and hope they make it,. Great fish store!
