we rented the hall for the 12th of november and realized the church i wanted wasnt available till the 19th so i called the owner of the hall not even 2 days later after i gave the deposit of $1000.00 and asked to change it to 19th because he said he had all of november available and he said yes hell change it to the 19th and i asked him if he wanted me to go in to the hall to change it on the contract so we both had it on writing. he said no it was fine he would do it there was no need for me to go in , i asked him again if he was sure because i had the day off and can go that it wasnt a problem , he said once again that there was no need he would change it so i said okay, now three months till my wedding i go to make the last payment he said he has the date already booked for someone else and that he was sorry he forgot to change the date, i told him i already had the invitations done wit the date of the 19th and the directions to that hall. all he said he could do was give me my deposit back and for me to find another hall . now its less than 4 months to my wedding and i have no hall and now no invitations. only reason i gave 1 star is because i couldnt give him no stars . thanks modesto banquet hall .
