Likely the best and most consistent winery in Sonoma, I have been buying these wines for over 15 years. The cabs are reliable and good every year and worth aging. The newest I have is the 2014 sonoma cab, its excellent and one of the best vintages ever. First class winery with excellent selection on a wide variety of grapes. YOu can never go wrong buying Rodney Strong. I have bought likely over 20 cases of the cab over the years and have to say its the best value for really good wine worth aging. Wish I could spend more time here but will return, many thanks for the hard work they do in making such good wine, Cheers !

Worst Vineyard in Sonoma County, but did not used to be. Such a shame! Rodney would be turning in his grave if he only knew what crap comes out of their recent production. I bought a bottle of Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon at Trader Joes recently and was horrified. Sour garbage wine that make me want to cry over how good it used to be. I guess price drop at Trader Joes means bad wine!

Even if you dont tour the vineyard, theyve built their tasting room on top of the big oak mixing casks and stainless steel containers. Its beautiful architecture and a good education. Tasting is handled well and theyll open anything you want to try.

Reception was a bit cool and snobby at first, but once we were judged to have a good palate it completely turned around. And they did have some of the best shiraz and blends at reasonable prices that we found.

Beautiful decor, friendly and knowledgable staff. Attended the Wine Barrel Tasting Tour and they handled the volume of visitors nicely. We were interested in all the bottled wines that we tasted.

And older building, but the walk around inside to see the tanks and casks is very unique and interesting. The wine was nice. My favorite was the 2012 Brothers Cabernet Sauvignon.
