For people that arent members I think this course is way overpriced given the condition of the course, namely the greens. There were plenty of places on a number of greens that didnt even have grass. Yet it is more the attitudes of the staff, namely one individual...a middle aged guy that wears glasses...that really perturb me and have made me stop playing there despite actually having a membership. I stood in line one day to get a tee time and witnessed him tell two younger african-americans that all the tee times were booked and nothing was available but they could wait around for the next 3 hrs in case something opened up. He told me the same thing too when I asked about just joining up with a 3-some as I was a single. Now I had looked prior to going up to the course online and there were plenty of times available for a single and even a couple available for a two-some. I wasnt going to waste my time sitting around for 3-hours while this jerk decided if he was going to let me play as I witnessed him let a friend of his, a single also, on the course right away. So when I got home I looked again on the online reservation system and there were still times available for a two-some and also plenty of times for a single. Thinking well maybe the system needs time to update, I kept watching it till the tee times came and went and they continued to be open. So not sure if this guy was discriminating against a younger generation, me being 27 in addition to the young african americans, or what but his attitude on that occasion alone is enough to get me to play golf elsewhere..

I played this golf course recently and I had a fabulous experience. The staff both in the pro shop and the restaurant were very polite and took really good care of me. The golf course was in excellent shape with perfectly rolling greens and the cart I rode in was nice and clean. My green fee was lower than at some other nearby golf courses, a great value for money.

Love Cap City! The remodel is awesome, the course is always in good shape, very dry in winter, the greens are in great shape and the Cap City Am is a blast every year. We are members and love getting to the course when we can. Food is good and the member discounts are awesome!Steve McNelly is great for Capitol City!

Always a good place to golf. Had a really good breakfast thier, the chicken fried steak was superb, the place was packed but the service didnt make you feel that way, our server at the bar was attentive and our food came out fast, we will be back

Great golf course for intermediate golfers. Greens are subtle and fairly fast. Food was perfectly cooked. Recommend the burgers
