We really enjoy this park! We like to ride our bikes here and explore the trails. In the spring the park is dotted with gorgeous wild flowers. The creek itself is a treasure trove of animal life - - lots of fish, turtles, ducks, bugs, etc. You can go fishing and catch/release. There are some really big turtles that swim under the bridge. The soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, playground, and clean bathrooms are also a big bonus.

I love to come to Bear Creek Park to read my Keller Williams Real Estate continuing education! It is so peaceful and a beautiful place to experience life with your family. I still have found memories of feeding the ducks here with my children when they were little. If you are looking for a new home and community to call home, come and enjoy this beautiful park and the warm neighborhood.

There seems to be a lack of management to care for the entire park. I saw trash on the bank of the pond, Broken utility hardware, trash in the spill way, a lot of weeds and bare spots where grass should be, no public restrooms, in place of a restroom is a big fat outhouse. This all reminds me of the way Rockwall keeps its water areas. Not impressive.

Excellent park, well-maintained grounds with plenty to do. There are 2 separate playgrounds for the kids, soccer fields, walking/running trails, and a nice stream that has fish and turtles. Lots of shade trees surround picnic benches, and theres a bathroom nearby to wash up. Overall a fantastic park!

Nice size, plenty of access points, decent location, well taken care of, and plenty of different areas for different activities make this park a great place for the family, special events, or even a little workout where you might see some local Marine Recruiters training their future replacements.

Open fields for baseball and soccer , a creek, ducks, fish and fishing, Pokemon stops, playgrounds, walking trail and places for picnics. Children do have to be monitored because of the creek. The city just added additional parking which was needed because at times the park is packed. Fun place.

Love this park! Lots of shade, plenty of parking, baseball diamond, volleyball court, large fields with a nice playground area for kids. There is a nice creek with lots of ducks and a pond that you can fish at. During the summer months the city often has a concert series in the evening.

An excellent place for walking or jogging. There are also nice open grassy spaces. People pick up after their pets. There are a good number of Pokey stops, and there is plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance also.

This park is among one of best Ive seen so far. Fountains, creeks, and not to mention the 5.4 miles of concrete trail from Sports Parkway all the way to Lakeridge Drive. Trails are bike friendly and well maintained.

They recently updated the pavilions and some of the playground equipment. Its a perfect park to run or walk in. There are lots of ducks and turtles to show the kids too, thats fun.
