UPDATE: Owner responded and made several valid points. Yes, since its not a brewery beer drinkers shouldnt expect to get the same taste. However, being open minded and trying new things, still couldnt grasp the complexities of a winery-turned-cidery. This is why Ill stick with my original review of a great place for non-beer drinkers or those even more open to alcohol than I am. Ill also add another star because its a fun place to hang out at, after paying the $10 entry fee. ORIGINAL REVIEW: A lot of fun...if youre not a beer drinker. The drinks: Ive been to a ton of breweries and have drank ample beers in my life. I just cant make myself like ciders. Your options are sweet + 5 fruit options, sour + 5 fruit options, or dry (like flat Rosé) which is semi sweet. They even have ciders from Washington and New York to help appease those who are not regular cider drinkers. I like most beers, from heavy IPAs to watered down Coors light (drank by/in the pool), but cant get a taste for these ciders. The arcade: Fantastic options ranging from Neo Geo systems with multiple games to a brand new 5v5 HD widescreen platformer, and a wall of pinball machines. After the $10 entry, all the games are free, so you can beat any game you like. Theres also usually a cabinet repairman on duty to fix any issues that arise with the older games. Best multiplayer games: Tie - X-Men & Simpsons Time Crisis2, terminator, Alien 51 shooter games Games needed - Mortal Kombat 2, 3, OR 4 Teenage mutant ninja turtles 4 player Overall, nice play to play games and hangout, but drinking is not that great unless you like ciders.

Ten bucks to play all the games you want and drink some locally brewed cider? Its a winning combination! They have a really good mix of games including old school, fighting, racing, music, pinball, and emulators. Its a great way to kill time and have fun with a date or group of friends. However, I feel like being in there was a bit more trouble than it was worth. A lot of the games are crammed next to each other, so expect to be fighting for elbow room when it gets busy. I would recommend going during the week so you arent fighting for space with the crowd. They do not have restrooms in the building, so expect to use a portable restroom that has the AC set at like 50 degrees. There were several games that we tried to play, but the buttons were stuck or had no free credits in it. The bartender said to let them know if that was the case, but there were always a lot of people at the bar so it wasnt worth the wait.

My wife and I have been here a few times since they opened and its been super fun. They have the biggest selection of arcade games in Dallas (and adding more games) and 12 ciders on tap they all make in house. They started with food trucks but are planning on offering some food options to go along with the alcohol because this stuff is super easy to drink. It creeps up on you:) Good place to bring a date or a big group with a good variety of retro games and newer ones. $10 admission gives you "unlimited button mashing" and you just pay for what you want to drink.

This place is a blast! I will definitely make sure to return! I came during a Saturday and it was pretty busy. However it wasnt too much of an issue for me. The restrooms are fairly decent / clean. Im not sure if this was a recent addition but the restroom I went to - was inside. They dont serve food however, there is a dining area for you to eat/ drink. They welcome food deliveries, which is great, you get to eat what you want. I think the staff does a pretty good job of maintaining the games, I didnt find any issues with sticky buttons.

Super nice guys at the front counter, machines are in VERY good shape and all work. Great selection of titles and they even have them grouped. You can bring in your own food if you like and they have a relationship with a local pizza place if you like they can send them in. When I was in they were out of many of the craft ciders but the one we had was really good. Cold AC, craft ciders (adult ones as well) and a lot of great titles. I will be visiting again for sure.

Great date night for the wife and myself. Even though she has never been much into video games, arcade games are a quick trip down memory lane and had her jumping and screaming with every game of pac man or donkey kong we played. Cidercade is a neat place, had a sweat cider for my wine loving wife and a dry cider for me since I cannot stand sweet drinks, and rows and rows of arcade games. Definitely worth the $10 cover for unlimited free play. Check these guys out.

Awesome place overall. Great place to go to on a date or just to hang with friends. Staff is always super nice and knowledgable. The security always seems non invasive. They have a very decent cider and game selection. Most of the games work great and theyre always adding new ones. No complaints really. It can get really slammed on fridays and saturdays, but I cant knock em for that, just means theyre doing a great job!

Parking sucks but that is the only thing that I found to be a negative about Cidercade. $10 for Free Play at all the games and $6-$8 12 oz house made ciders. They have snacks and candy from $1-$4 (Poptarts, chips, airheads, fruit gushers, etc). I saw a group bring in pizza and wings and set up at one of the tables. Their party would migrate back and forth from the games to the table. Great place, I will be back!

This place is pretty great. Cider is good of course and theres a ton of games to play. However, I found a few games had issues and some were just unable to be played at all. Notable examples included Galaga whose controls did not work at all, and Metal Slug where the left controls didnt work at all, only the right side controls did. Other than that, Id definitely come here again.

This place is such an incredible place to hang out at. The few times I have been people are always smiling, laughing, and having a great time being a kid again-with a cider in hand! There cider is incredible and very unique to other ciders Ive had! I will definitely be back and cant wait to see what new games they have brought in next time!

Had what I came for. Gorf and Apple Pineapple Ale. Very friendly Staff, Helpful in Every way. Games to bring back the Good Old Days when I used to work in the Arcade Ballys Aladdins Castle. Sad My pancreatitis flared up and 20 minutes later I was heading home..total spent 34 bucks..was it worth it..come on down and you be the judge.

I thought it was a really cool place, a bar/arcade, but I couldnt have been more wrong. The staff and security are horrible people. I went to hangout with someone there and they made up lies that I stole from the person. Please dont ever visit this place the staff are dismal people with no morals.

1st time going and had a blast with the hubby. Went after 8pm, adults only. Sampled some cider and the Pineapple cider was the best! Several classic games including Mortal Combat, PacMan and pinball games. Nice hidden gem. Definitely must if you want to try something different!
