The entire experience of the field and the games is fantastic. Bring the family for a fun, easy going, leisurely time. Enjoy the sun, wind, and ships passing in the ports channel. The view of the bridge is pleasant, as well as the downtown skyline. You might even get to see some future major league baseball players from this Houston Astros AA affiliate. Many ticket promotions are available, so you might get free or discounted tickets. Even paying full price can be a bargain. If you catch the right game, you could walk away with a little bonus; everyone got a coupon for a free Laredo Taco from Stripes last night. The only drawback is ridiculously priced concessions. They have certain specials from time to time, which help some. As a general rule, we encourage everyone to go enjoy outstanding baseball in a fine environment.

not at all happy with this venue. clint black cancelled the concert and they took it upon themselves to donate my ticket money to charity after clint black did not reschedule. I had to embarrasingly contact the miracle league ymca myself after no response to my request for a refund. all I got was a letter my money was donated. getting ready to contact the credit card company and report this as fraudulent charges.

top notch facility, very professional organization, hooks staff are all friendly and know their jobs, never had a negative experience since they built the park. We make it a point to take out of towners to a game any time they come in, the fireworks show is fantastic if you get a chance to see a friday game.

This is one of the best ball parks in all of minor league baseball. Where else are you going to find an actual Whataburger restaurant inside a baseball stadium? If you like baseball but havent been to a Hooks game yet, do yourself a favor and come out one night, its tons of fun.

Over all everything was good. The only complaints I had and what I heard was the overall prices were getting a little high and was cutting down on the amount of times that they could visit Whataburger Field. Also the amount of exits that were and were not open after the game.

They charged us $10 for parking when attending the Color Vibe color run. This seemed unfair due to it being a charity run and I had already spent well over a hundred dollars on registrations. How much of the parking proceeds did Whataburger contribute? Im guessing NONE!

As far as kids having fun, nothing touches whataburger park. Nothing. LaGrave field (now closed), dr pepper ballpark (frisco), dell diamond (rr). We will try cleburnes new park before end of season.

Opening day... Took 3 1/2 innings standing in line to get concessions. Absolutely ridiculous. Management of operations should have been fired for ineptness. Actual game play experience was great.

Great minor league. Thursday is half price beer and $1 sodas. My friends and I were walking in and got picked to participate in the infield games. We all had a great time. Will definitely be back!
