We just attended the Texas State Games Special Olympics. Great Staff and super friendly with directions. If you have never attended a Special Olympics Competition, I highly recommend you try it at least once. Fun people, hundreds of Police and other Emergency personnel Volunteers for these kiddos. Music and evening dance was fun to watch. Food selections and food prices were great!!!! Cant beat a fresh grilled hamburger outside with new friends!!!

Cool place. We volunteered at the Special Olympics. We were on the field which is turf. The restrooms are clean. We then went to the activity center and had a ton of fun. There was a lot to keep our kids busy for 3 hours. There was billiard, ping pong, indoor and outdoor basketball & volleyball, raquetball, air hockey, foosball and a few other activities.

Yep I love coming to Maverick Stadium they definitely have Special Olympics here during State Games and weve also had Area 11 competitions here for Special Olympics what I can say over all the staff they are fantastic but the stadium itself is certainly out-of-date it could use a huge financial update including scoreboard stands and other structures

I remember having elementary school field days at Maverick Stadium like it was just yesterday. For a Division I school with no football team, UT Arlington certainly has the stadium for one. With a good number of seats and well-kept track and field, the venue is great for high school football, track and soccer, but also UTA events as well!

I didnt go to Uta, so I cant review this as thoroughly but as a visitor to the Scottish Highland games, it was very nice facility. All staff were friendly and the space was open and clean. No complaints!

The stadium is okay. Its reminiscent of a 70s football stadium and has little shade. It doesnt have many venues and its very outdated but a great track stadium.

Fantastic Highland Games! Area wasnt crowded, lots of great bands and merchants, clean bathrooms, and of course the games were awesome!

Always plenty of parking. We attend s lot of Special Olympics events here. This location is very well suited for such events.

Bathrooms were disgusting and all the bathroom stall doors were covered in rust

No where to park. Only one entrance. Bad bathrooms-- smelly, dirty, hot.
