This is a beautiful park with on-leash dog friendly trails where it isnt uncommon to come across wildlife. Deer, turtles, and birds are the norm, but Ive even come across 4 young armadillos rooting beneath some trees, and twice now some sort of wild canid crossed the trail ahead of me. Likely a coyote but not 100% sure. The scenery is stunning. My children love the play area and we try and take some cracked corn to feed the geese and ducks once weekly if we can. They are often holding community events and the nature center is an awesome place to bring young nature enthusiast. Overall a wonderful experience and Im pleased to have such a gem of a park in my community.

Incredibly well-maintained trails, clean restrooms, and an amazing playground and nature center. We came for the hiking but were insanely impressed with the facilities overall. The diversity in the trail systems made for a challenging and beautiful hike.

Bowie Nature park is 700 acres of beautiful forest and lake with 17 miles of trails. The park is open sunrise-sunset year round and the nature center is open Mon-Sat 9am-4pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.

Amazing park thats perfect for hiking and picnics. Being from SoCal, its refreshing to visits small towns that take care of their parks. Great for running and doing nature photography too.

I love this park and so does my kids. It has a wonderful play area thats fully fenced in. It has a nice pond with ducks to feed. Its all around a fun place to go just about any time.

Playground is great. Bathrooms are not. Just a break from car so didnt see any other part of park.
