Layout: Challenging and Unique with trees, sand and elevation changes. Never a boring hole. 9/10 Greens: fast and mostly consistent. 7/10 Nice feature: you get a free bucket of balls to hit at the warm up range just off of the first tee! This feature alone makes it one of my favorite courses as Im never unprepared to step on the first tee box. The staff is great and it is an upscale professional feel every time Im there. It has 5 sets of tees to accommodate all levels and I think anyone can play here. It does get busy so if you expect to take a little longer find a slower time. Pace of play can get a little behind but they do a good job trying to keep it moving. Its worth the price. One of the nicer public courses youll find in eastern PA. Id recommend it to anyone. If I had to offer one criticism, um, yeah I dont have one. I always enjoy playing here.

Very nice golf course but very poorly run. We had been out on the course for three hours and ten minutes on 9/24/2010 and still had not teed off for the tenth hole. Each cart equipped with the best in GPS . Apparently, the Homestead thinks they can control pace of play by red flashing the GPS. No rangers employed, no one in charge such as a course manager or professional....In fact, you are on your own. Bag boy acted as a sort of starter. On top of all, they had a large group that had lunch as part of their package. They would stop at the ninth, have lunch and then go to the tenth in front of others Some groups were leaving the course due to slow play..

My husband and I got married here this past May. The staff was WONDERFUL. They made me feel like the day meant as much to them as did to me. Ginger, our event coordinator was always a call, text or email away and was on site for the entirety of the days leading up to and of course on the big day. The view over looking the coarse was breathtaking and all of our guests agreed!!! Thank you Olde Homestead!

Top notch golf course facility for the area. Friendly, accommodating staff with a great golf course that is challenging with great views, conditions and the best GPS system you can ask for in a golf cart. This track has a little bit of everything with woods, hills, open holes, and water and can be challenging with the wind up but definitely give it a play!

The course is in good shape-great shape for April. Greens were rolling well. The pace of play was good and under 4 hours. A strong value. Staff was good from handling the bags, The pro shop as well as the wait staff.
