My husband and I got in to the hotel around 9pm on Thursday June 26th. Hungry after a 7 hour drive, we went down to Baci to get a meal and beverage. We sat down at the bar at 9:30. Atmosphere and overall appearance was nice. Bartender was nice enough, but he made sure to tell us they were closing in a half hour so we better order quick. OK then..so we ordered a Cosmopolitan and a Long Island Ice Tea to drink. Long island was good, Cosmo was way too strong. For meals we ordered the Lake Erie Perch and the Al Forno pasta. The perch wasnt bad, could have been seasoned a little more. The Al Forno though was terrible. Meat was "eh" and bland, the pasta was overcooked, and the sauce was absolutely terrible. No flavor, bland, and terribly watery! Sauce would just run off the pasta, wouldnt stick to it at all, and had about the same consistency of the drinks we were having. When we advised the bartender of this, he apologized that it wasnt good, but thats it. No offer to get something else, did not comp our bill for the bad food...and given how much the cost of this meal was that was extremely disappointing. I rate this as high as "Disliked" simply for the ambiance of the establishment. The rest was very poor. Dont know if everyone had given up by that point since they were "closing in a half hour", but thats very disrespectful to your customers. Huge disappointment! I write this from my hotel room that we are staying in until Tuesday morning, and we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Disgusting food, bad service and bad attitude. We were a party of 7 and no one ate their food. It was horrible. Hair in food. Asked to speak to a manager, she came over with an attitude, demanded to see the hair and says nobody complains about this place. I said well we are. She said she would take of the pasta with the hair in it and that was it. We waited 30 minutes before we had to track down the waitress again to get our checks, when we finally got them they did not take off the hairy pasta. I had to go to the waitress station in the back to get help again. The waitress said, there is nothing I can do, there is no manager. I said, you just told us this would be taken off the bill, she finally takes it off. We pay and it takes probably another 15+ minutes for her to come back. We left 7 plates of uneaten food (pricey food) and they could of cared less. Will never go back.

Happened to stay at the comfort inn after going to cedar point. My husband and I were a little tired after our day and decided to eat where we stayed. We like to consider ourselves foodies and have to critique nearly everything. So everything was great! We went with the bruschetta. So good. A strong caper flavor, which was great for us. My husband got a filet which was cooked to perfection. I went with the lobster ravioli and really enjoyed it! I also had a salad with blue cheese crumbles on it. Im a total snob. It was awesome! I was totally impressed if you love a true deep blue cheese. Theres nothing negative we could say about the entire dinner. It was a great experience and if we come back to Sandusky we will for sure come here!!! Thanks again for the great food and service!

We chose the Comfort Inn for our trip because of Baci. After reading the reviews, it seemed like the food was pretty good but unfortunately we were unable to experience it because the chef closed the kitchen down early Saturday night because they were slow. There was no music or dancing. They were out of the two types of beer from their drink menu that we like. The bartender promised to bring out bread rolls and butter due to the fact the restaurant closed early but never did. Im not sure what kind of club closes down at 11 on Saturday night but I wont waste my time returning.

I went here on my birthday(June 2015). After spending the day at Cedar Point, my group was exhaused, and didnt want to search Sandusky to find a restaurant. We had the best king crab legs, lobster ravioli and steak(not too many hotel restaurants can brag about that menu). The kitchen also sent out some crab pasta, bread , and anit-pasta for the table(just because). Our server Amy was terrific, and at the end of the meal, she sent out a Birthday card signed by the kitchen and wait staff. It was a very unexpected delight to have dined there.

Decided to eat here at Baci Restaurant based on the many great reviews, while staying at a nearby water park, and it was absolutely awesome. As we were being served delicious unexpected antipasti, i told our waitress I felt spoiled, to which she replied "that is the Italian way to enjoy a great meal". They put so much heart and love into their restaurant and it shows. Best meal I have had in many years (outside my own home). Thank you Baci Restaurant for this exceptional wonderful dining experience!

We tried Baci this weekend for the first time and loved it. It was not overpriced at all and to our surprise the food came out with an antipasta plate and pasta for us to share before our meals. I had scallops which were in a very light cream sauce served with asparagus and scalloped potatoes and it was delicious. My wife ordered pasta carbonera and it too was fantastic. One of the best meals ive had in a very long time, and we were shocked because it is like a dance bar, but it was truly fantastic.

What a great place to eat! Food was amazing! Delmonica steaks melted in your mouth. Renee was the best waitress advising a House Martini which was made spot on by the funniest bartender Vince. Both waited on us even though we came 15 min before closing, which btw is 10pm on weeknights. Well worth every cent. Even got Tiramisu to go. Soooo good.

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is wonderfully polite and helpful, the food was top quality and they always fo the extra mile to satisfy the customer. Im a vegetarian and the chef came out to ask me what I would like and made me something that wasnt on the menu and came out to see if I liked it! Its pricy, but so worth it!

Stayed at hotel for the weekend. There was no music, no dancing. The music that was on was really low. Really disappointed. The music at cabana bar was low, other patrons complained it was too loud. ITS BIKE WEEK. Really disappointed with the entertainment, thats why I picked the hotel in the first place.

Our group of 9 had New Years Eve dinner at Baci and the food was amazing. Great scallops and the largest lobster tail I have ever seen. Service was awesome (thanks Vinny) and the drinks and atmosphere was great as well. A hidden gem in fine dining in Sandusky.
