I went here on fathers day weekend with my Dad and was very disappointed in the customer service. They had a group of ladies there at bag check that didnt really help much except ignore us. We had to ask for water that should have been on the carts already before we started; we had to ask for carts; and they also werent able to answer many questions. The GPS on the carts did not work; which, if you dont have GPS on this course and its your first time, that is a big issue due to the number of blind shots! They told me they would swap out the carts ASAP during our round, but that never happened. They did not provide a refund or discount for this problem either. Anyways, the views on the course were amazing. The course was tough and in good shape. I just wanted to comment on the customer service. Its not worth the money based on the customer service I experienced there.. I dont think Ill be back.

The layout is impressive with remarkable elevation changes and water features that challenge the player throughout the course. The rough are the other hand is practically knee deep: definitely PGA style. 2 feet off the fairway, there is an excellent chance of losing your ball. I hit my first drive exactly where the starter recommended and spent 10 minutes looking for my ball in the rough. I thought at first that the course hadnt been able to mow because of the rain; however, when I came across a grounds crew member who was "mowing" the rough, I learned that "they like to keep it that way for the challenge." For those of you who like to know what its like to play out of US Open style rough and try to hit over the multiple water hazards, this is the course for you. Be ready to bump up your handicap: and bring lots of balls.

We were in town and decided to have an impromptu round of golf. One of our 5 had our clubs. We called the Quarry and they set us up with rental clubs, not old abused clubs, but nice full sets of Taylormade clubs. The golf pro even let one of our group use his personal set. I cant say enough how accommodating they were in every way. The layout is beautiful and very challenging. The green fees and rental fees were very reasonable as well. Rest assured, if we are in the Canton area again, we will be back. With our own clubs next time. Thank you for the accommodations and friendlines, other businesses need to go here for instruction on how to make their customers feel wanted and welcomed.

I hardly ever write reviews only because the experience isnt usually totally terrible. The restaurant was terrible. The inexperience of the staff was very noticeable. My wife and close friends had her 40th class reunion their tonight, Oct.28, 2014. I have never seen so many bad plates. The meat was cold and over cooked, the fish had thick hard cold breading and the chicken was fair. The veggies over cooked on some plates, to a dark over cooked and wilted look. And the red skin potatoes were very much over cooked. The bar was also under staffed with many shortages of stock. To bad they dont want to come back and The Quarry should be a shame.

The Customer Service here is terrible. went with a group of 28 from out of town. We all paid, stood around for 10-15 minutes, because of a downpour that never ended. We never got Golf Carts, went back inside for our Refunds, and all they would give us were Gift Cards. Mind you we were from out of town, and they knew this and told us we would be refunded if we paid and never got out on the course. Most of us cant make it back, so were stuck with Gift Cards. The only reason they get one star, is that its the lowest you can rate it.

Its hard to rate this course. The actual course is great and as great as it is, the employees are terrible. From the guy who answers the phone to the proshop, the starter, the girl in the snack shop, and even the guys that clean the carts they are all rude and incompetent. I have never been treated so badly at a golf course. It always takes a few months for me to suppress the memories of the employee attitudes before I can stop back.

Has group of 19 play and the bunkers were the worst I have ever seen. There was actually a drainage pipe completely above ground for about 15 feet in one. It is a challenging layout of you are not accurate with the tee shot, but a nice layout. The head pro asked about is about the bunkers and got offended and confrontational when I told him my honest opinion. Dont ask a question of you dont want a persons opinion.

This course is amazing! The engineering that had to go into the design is absolutely awe inspiring. There are many large elevation changes that are so scenic and beautiful. It is well manicured and just so cool. After you hit your putt in, you immediately start wondering what the next hole will look like as each hole seems to be more unique than the last. A must play course that will not disappoint! Well done!

I absolutely love the course. I played about 5 years ago and may game was miserable that day. I finally made it back and it was fabulous. I played better and that helps. THe cost is in line with the course and service. I am a member at OSU, it costs $75 to walk Scarlet. I think $65 for range balls, cart and the course are in line. Awesome elevation changes and worth every penny...

I love this course. NE Ohio has many courses, but none with the elevation changes and views that this one possesses. Its definitely target golf, though I used driver on most holes, you have to place your shots. The free range balls and GPS helped the game a bit. The staff was great, from the ladies loading the carts, the starter, to the grill room bartender.

Have always enjoyed playing this course. Our group that travels every Saturday during the summer months played there on 8/13/2017. Bunkers were terrible. Like hitting out if mud. And the price was 69.00. No matter what they think its not a 69.00 course during the weekend. Gave it 3 stars only because I like the course

The only reason this golf course is getting 4 stars is because of their golf carts. The golf carts shut down when you go out of area. I didnt think near the green or going after a wayward ball would deactivate the golf carts, but it does (and will when you least expect it). Great course though!

Well maintained course. Hit a straight ball or bring 2 boxes of balls. Very few flat lies. Not a beginners course. Great to look at, nasty to play. Pros would not rate it well. For $54.00 good entertainment. You should try it. Very humbling.

The Quarry is a beautiful course to play on. I think its the nicest one in Stark County. It is definitely challenging and its quite pricy to play. I havent had any issues with the staff. One of my favorite places to play!

Course is fantastic, many choices in our area but this track is like nothing else in Northeast Ohio. Only reason I gave 4 stars is the pricing and golf staff. Way too expensive and employees were rude.
