The staff is great and this place would get another star from me if Wake county better funded it. This would include the need to fix or get a new pool vacuum cleaner. Another issue is that many skip the shower before swimming and Ive complained and the staff has told me they cant force the shower situation, but only can put up a"please shower before entering the pool" sign.

My 3 yr old and I go for open swim 2 days a week. Most are friendly faces that work here. Clean lockers..You can tell its an old center but still valuable. Water is heated during winter, supposedly 80°. We choose this pool out of all the others (yet, weve only been to a few), because we just like it and have gotten comfortable here.

Love the pool. If you want to walk or swim laps, this pool is a great place to start. They have many lanes so when the various swim teams are practicing, you still have room to be able to do what you need to do.

Beautiful park, playground is nice and shaded, small walking trails with bridges and benches just to take a seat read a book very clean and peaceful. Community center and an indoor pool.

I love going to optimist park and pool its so clean and fun also this year I will be doing sports with them and Im super excited for it

I personally really enjoyed it here because the pools were nice. Also I enjoyed how cheap it was to enter the pools.
