It is located in a historic building that during the early 1900s was the location of the Lighthouse Depot. They worked on Fresnel Lens, and all other items used in Lighthouses of the time. The exhibits are very informative, and the tour guides make the visit extremely interesting. A great Museum for all ages.

A hidden treasure in Staten Island! Knowledgeable guides, a must visit, short walk from the Ferry! Learn the science and history of local lighthouses and on the ferry trip back to Manhattan see the Robins Reef and Statue of Liberty lighthouses with new appreciation.

This was an excellent find. Tina and Wade were 2 of the nicest people we have ever met. Their passion and enthusiastic way of presenting the information in the museum was refreshing. Great history and a hidden gem! Thank you!!

Small with some artifacts. The main attraction are the miniatures of different lighthouses. I really liked the Greek model.
