This place is a hidden gem in the concrete jungle of Manhattan . Absolutely amazing! Great spot for chilling out to waterfall sounds, eat your T.A. meal or just relax. The waterfall is loud enough to offer a private conversation with a person in close proximity. Theres a little cafe there which serves everything from coffee to hamburgers. My recommendation is to eat your takeout from Ess-a-Bagel which is right around the corner

Heard about this place from Atlas Obscura and I went with my boyfriend a few days back. It was such a calming oasis in the middle of a busy city. We must have spent a half hour there just watching the waterfall. Definitely a great place to clear your mind or to relax or get a bit of light work done.

Beautiful, relaxing hideaway on 51st. The waterfall blocks the noise of the city and the seating area against the wall had little heaters in the ceiling, making our brisk morning very cozy. Highly recommend grabbing a bagel from Ess-a-bagel around the corner and heading here to eat and relax.

Un bonito jardín con cascada entre tanto asfalto. Estupendo para una parada y tomar un tentempié, escuchando el agua y los pájaros

Great for relaxing over lunch or even a coffee. There is also a cafe there that sells snacks, coffee, drinks, and sandwiches. Plenty of seating there. Tends to be packed at lunchtime and even more so when its nice outside. I was there many times.

Wonderful little spot right in the middle of the city. The park design is very zen and the waterfall takes you away from the craziness of the city noise and traffic. I spend lunches here at times and feel rejuvenated for the rest of the evening.

My backyard! This is the perfect combination of big enough for the locals and quite cozy to fit everyone at lunch time. The new cafe serves a few snacks and drinks to complete the experience. Shame they dont let take pictures.

What a fantastically brilliant and scenic spot hidden in amongst the day to day working within the city. If I lived here I would definitely come here during the week to revitalise my Chi.

A lovely bit of Midtown. The seasonal decor is wonderful and the waterfall a welcome respite. My favorite time to go is in the autumn, where the entire park explodes in yellows.

Charming little spot with a waterfall. It isnt open in the winter, but when it is warm out, sitting here and reading a book is a wonderfully pleasant way to pass the time.

Did you know Times Square was originally called Greenacre Square, but the NY Times asked the city to change the name when they moved in? Fun Fact. And now you know ...
