This is the worst live music venue in the city right now. At last nights Foundation of Funk show, the venue was clearly oversold. It was hot, packed, and the crowd was terrible. The VIP section makes no sense, not only because its on the far side of the venue, but because servers have to cut through the crowd to bring VIPs their food and drinks. Its absurd. The stage isnt high enough up that you can see anything if you are ten rows back or more, and the sound is spotty at best. I eventually cut to the front and had a better time, but it shouldnt have to be like that. There was way too much talking in the crowd because this venue does everything it possibly can to take you out of the live music experience. I loved Foundation of Funk but I will never see a show at The Hall again. It is Brooklyns Terminal 5, and the city doesnt need another T5, let alone the T5 that already exists. This place sucks.

I came here during the pig roast event. The food was great and there was a live band that fit the theme of the event. The place looked really nice. It has a small but, decent selection of whiskey. The seating layout is a little weird because they have seats going along the side of the wall. Our waiter wasnt good at all. There was other waiters that looked to be doing a good job. We were just the unfortunate ones.

Super expensive for no reason, there are couches but they turned them around so you cant actually sit in them, you actually cant sit anywhere, not even the bar, and the standing area is totally level so even if youre right front of the stage and theres one tall person in front of you cant see anything

The drinks were not good at all. We ordered a long island ice tea and they didnt have some of the ingredients. Then i went to use the restroom only one sink worked. Other than that the show that was presenting that night was amazing and extremely fun.

Went for the Pig Roast event. Its a nice place, big, lots of seating, nice stage with live music. Just wasnt what i was expecting. I had expected it to be food event, with showing off their wares and people mulling around Oohing and Ahhing everything.

Great new music venue. I cant wait to try the restaurant next door! Good beer prices and they are very lax in their re-entry policy which was great when I wanted to step out to get a slice of pizza.

Spacious and comfortable for a venue but I got terrible cell reception and the beer selection was limited, though that might have only been for the show I saw.
