Quite a large park with a big lake surrounded by a path that people use for walking, running, teaching kids to ride bikes, etc. A few playgrounds, trail through undeveloped portion, a rent-able pavilion, grills, bathrooms, snack machine, small fenced in dog parks (one for small dogs and one for larger dogs), lots of open field area, big sledding hill in the middle. The lake allows fishing and is full of the standards-- ducks, toads, fish, turtles, dragonflies. A blue heron visits frequently. Last fall I saw a pair of bald eagles visiting. The other side of the park has a bunch of baseball fields for little league. These are pretty nice facilities for little league. They provide shade for fans and most have seperate dugout areas and bullpens. They are kept locked when not in use. The only thing I dislike are the signs at the playground equipment because they include dumb rules (no running? If not at the park then where?)

Nice park to go for a nice walk or run. There is a paved path around the lake in the middle, and it goes all the way to the back of the park as well. There is also a small area for small dogs, and another small area for large dogs to play along the woods as well in a fenced in open area. It is also very easy to get to, having two entrances. There are a few picnic tables, a small playground, a few baseball/softball fields and plenty of open space as well to relax and enjoy the park.

This is our favorite park and have been coming here for years! Everytime we visit, there are so many other families, couples, dog-walkers, joggers, bicyclists..etc. This park is very popular, but is large so it never seems crowded! With several playground areas, a pavilion with picnic tables, and indoor restrooms, patrons can stay for an hour, or an afteroon! During our last visit, an ice cream truck stopped by as well! It is also always super clean and well maintained!

Beautiful park to take your kids, dog, or yourself! Small playground area for the kids, there are two dog parks near the back by the baseball fields. There is also a cool climbing hill which lets you look out over the entire park. Several nature trails as well and a pond. Excellent to walk around in the evening or morning weekdays. Gets incredibly crowded on the weekend and in the summer.

This place is absolutely beautiful and a great place to take children. But if youre looking for a good hike this is not the park for you. They have three different played areas for children but nothing for children 3 and under. Theres also a great number of birds that live there so if youre a bird watch her this is definitely the place for you.

Large, relaxing, diverse park in a growing metropolis of confusion. Take the family here, or go on a lunch break and you will not be disappointed. The park offers places to walk, relax, picnic, play with the kids, or just get away and clear your head. It is great year-round, always clean, well maintained, and comforting to visit.

Great park with several tot lots for big and little kids. The bathrooms are close by, which has a spot for diaper changes. The only challenge is that none of the tot lots are fenced in so if your child is prone to wander off... Youll have your work cut out. The paved paths are perfect for kids on bikes or skates.

My younger brother, over 30 years ago, hand carved the sign that reads "Laurel Acres" at the main entrance to this park, as his Eagle Scout Project. To this day (as of now, at least), the sign -- repainted no doubt many times -- is still gracing the front of this incredible green space.

Theres not much to say if youve spent the day here. I simply have no words for the peace and serenity I find here. Its my favorite local park. Word of advice... if you wish to hold an event at the pavilion, make sure you place your name on the list months in advance.

Great place to run. I thought it would only have the parks paved track,but it had a nice trail,specifically labeled for runnners,and although its not my bag,it looks like a great place for fishing as well.

Laurel Acres is a great family park. The many playgrounds are a hit with the little ones. The walking trail and dog park are wonderful. Ive also enjoyed a couple 5Ks at this park.

Great park. Nice easy paved loop thats about .3 of a mile. Great for kids to go ahead of you because you can see them the whole time. Awesome park for Pokemon playing
