This place could be a gem. The land it has is spectacular. Due to mismanagement and horrible agronomic practices this club remains nothing more than a glorified cow pasture. The bunkers are in horrible shape, the fairways are an eyesore, and the front entrances are in dire shape. The greens are good and can be notoriously fast. The clubhouse and food menu is mediocre at best. The maintenance facilities also are in poor condition. This entire club with some better management and careful planning could be a top course in NJ. The course has a terrific layout and each hole is comfortably tucked away to give the feeling of privacy. The club needs to make a public offering if they are to succeed, or really improve their maintenance practices. Honestly the club should be done away with and be set aside as a public park or a disc golf course. If you want great golf go to Architects, River View, Beaver Brook, or Crystal Springs Resort.

A google user you are comparing Beaverbrook, Riverview and Architects to this club tells me and others who have played Oak Hill that you have "no clue". This club is strictly a Golf Club. It is meticulously maintained with carpet fairways, extremely fast challenging greens. The staff and members are welcoming. The Pros are there to help your game and get the most out of your enjoyment. The restaurant has a good selection of beers, is semi formal atmosphere, the food is very good and the have the best wings I have had anywhere, no joke. There are always some new items on the menu (Oso Bucco, Fish selections just to name a couple. This is a very well run professional club. My bet is that a Google user never even played on the course since it is private.

Had to laugh at the first anonymous review from google user. This is a Golf Club not a country club. So you wont find a pool or tennis courts. The club has limited memberships and seldom crowds around waiting to tee off and waiting to hit each shot thereafter.. Most holes look easy until you get close to the greens. The course is very well maintained. I like Heron Glen, Architects , Riverview but you will find a much more relaxed atmosphere and better conditions at Oak Hill. For a private club dont find it stuffy at all.

A very challenging course, but the conditions are outstanding and the views are beautiful. This is a really well-done course. The greens are tough and rattled us a bit after 4-5 holes, but we really enjoyed our round. I could see playing this course everyday and getting a lot out of it.

Great little golf course. Only golf. No tennis, pools, etc. If you love golf youll love this course. Greens are diabolical, fairways in excellent shape. Course plays tougher than it looks. Pro shop staff very helpful. No houses around the course, so quiet and scenic.
