Look no further. You have stumbled across one of Northern New Jerseys gems. My Experience: I had always wanted to learn how to dance my entire life. At the time I found Continental, I wanted to learn how to dance Latin dances so that I could surprise my boyfriend when we visited his family in Colombia. Let me tell you, the amount of love the staff has for dancing and teaching showed from the moment I walked in. I was welcomed in by Felicia who made my dream begin. Her excitement and dedication is a rarity. She and Fernando spent countless hours teaching me how to look, feel, and be the music. I learned Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. My biggest dream was to develop those "latina hips," and I did! When I arrived in Colombia and danced, EVERYONE was impressed! Everyone wanted to know how I learned to dance. I would not have been able to do it without them. **It took about 4 months of lessons to learn this** Recommendation: I fully recommend Continental Dance Studio. I am so sure that you will love them just as much as I do. If youre even remotely nervous, call Felicia. She will put your mind at ease and flawlessly build your dream of dancing into your reality. Prices: Very affordable private and group lessons. I recommend the private lessons as you will be able to see results quicker with the one-on-one dedicated time.

Fernando was an amazing dance instructor, very calm and patient. After the introductory lesson however lesson packages get very expensive. ($3000+) When we needed to reschedule our lesson one weekend because my fiance hurt his foot at work and was not able to dance, Felicia yelled at me on the phone and told me even though I paid for the lesson and was rescheduling to next week she was hesitant to ever schedule us for a lesson again because to her rescheduling is unheard of... we did not have any choice as my fiance could not walk. She was very unprofessional on the phone about the situation and we would have not gone back if we hadnt paid for the lesson already. We were doing our best working around our busy work schedules and an injury to schedule a dance lesson! Normally I would have given this place a great review but as for being yelled at when I was already stressed out for my wedding and my fiance couldnt walk that was very uncalled for.

After a second lesson, I must admit I am in love!! I never thought I would enjoy the dancing and sashaying and feeling silly but the instructor, Felicia, is amazing!!! Getting prepared for a HUGE event in my life, I am totally confident in the abilities of Continental Dance Club to lead the way (pun totally intended). After looking into the Club, and many years of experience under their belt, going elsewhere seemed detrimental to my own needs! Fernando and Felicia are kind and welcoming and I cannot wait to continue. If youre looking to learn like I was, this is totally the place for you... ESPECIALLY if you dont want to just waddle at your wedding!!!

Best experience I could get! I felt at ease and comfortable working out the bugs in my dance skills. Even though I opted to do only a few classes Im most likely going to be taking a full course here simply because of how comfortable they made me feel, the knowledge in dancing that was shown to me, and the simple fact of how pleasant my instructors were. If youre eager to dance and looking for an instructor I highly suggest you stop by!

My fiancé and I are getting married soon so she decided we needed dance lessons. I wasnt looking forward to it, in fact I was dreading it, but Felicia has such a great personallity and she made the time fly by. Felicia is amazing! My fiance and I are enjoying our wedding dance lessons and cannot wait until our whole routine is perfected. We even plan on taking more lessons after the wedding - we are interested in some salsa/latin dances too.

Fernando is excellent. Tonight I learned the Salsa, Bachata, and Argentine tango. In one hour he taught me about 7-8 steps. I learned so much in this private lesson. We laughed and most of all had fun all the while burning some calories.
