Been coming here for years....unfortunately the place is crying for updates and renovations. Its hard to get past the historic aroma once you walk in, which is shortly greeted by an odd combination of carpet and wall paper that is begging to be replaced. Of the two rooms, I prefer the one with the sunken dance floor, as the ballroom in the back seems stuffy with its low ceilings and awkward layout. The food is simply okay, but nothing particularly outstanding, and the bar selections are too overpriced to wash it down. As a place that holds many memories for me, I wish it didnt feel so stuck in the past. To maintain a functional future its going to need a little TLC.

The food is always interesting and oh so tasty!!! The entire place is beautiful! I have never golfed, but the people who do look like theyre having fun. My daughter had her wedding and reception here and it was absolutely perfect!!! We recently attended breakfast with Santa. Santa and Mrs Claus pulled up in a golf cart and the kids had a lot of fun and we all ate so much delicious food. My son had kiwi and dew drop grapes for the first time. There was an omelette bar and the French toast was scrumptious!!! Everything was prepared to perfection!!!

Our go-to course for cost and challenge, like the other poster says, lots of turns. The woods lining the fairways... good news: they are clear of brush and easy to find your ball; bad news they will kill your score if you think you can advance it up the fairway and out on the next shot ... its better to just get out...I still havent practice what I preach though (lol). 10th hole par 5 is nearly never reachable in two ... not even in a best ball 4-some scenario. Same goes with hole #13, par 5.

One of the better courses I played this summer. Alot of bunkers, fairway and greenside. The course was in good condition. Not too many straight holes. This course puts a premium on placement rather than distance. Your not going to be able to grip it and rip it on most holes. I recomend you check it out yourself. I will defintly be going back. And most important the price is very reasonable.

16 players joined Buena Vista CC this fall from another Southern NJ club. We are all enjoying the conditions and challenge of Buena. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Facilities are great.
