This course offers some good views and decent holes, but that cant compensate for the poor grass, so-so employees, and pre-lawn mower length greens. I wish I were more expert in groundskeeping to speak more specifically to the grass, but best I can describe is it was poorly mowed and the blades too sparse. The club head doesnt glide through as naturally, even on fairways and tee boxes. And the blade length on the greens was unusual. It was reminiscent of highlights from PGA putts 60+ years ago. In other words, very very slow. The most interesting thing we found on some holes was that the green fringe blades were longer than the surrounding "rough." It was as if the mower had made a mistake more than once. The shop employee was your standard pro shop-Joe, anxious to not have to talk to anyone anymore, and the pro shop is void of any windows or much feeling of welcoming. The course itself is short - lots of 300-400 yard par 4s and par 3s, so good for a beginner player - yet challenging enough designs to give you some trouble guessing the best spots to lay up. As a more experienced golfer, I would not come back here, but its not like the course was in shambles by any means. The price and challenge of the course is probably right for a beginner-intermediate player.

I am not a good golfer, so its not entirely my place yet to judge a courses quality. This is one of the few affordable places for a local to golf without having to drive outside of town, so that makes it attractive. Even without being on top of my game though, I would tell that the fairways (when I was actually on them) were a little thin and sandy. The greens (after the 10 shots it took me to get to them) were hard, thin and fast. I would blame my extremely high score on the course, but Im quite certain that my horrible skill level had something to do with that. It was a fine course for its age, and not entirely unreasonable comparably in Las Vegas. The golf shop people were friendly, the concessions girl was helpful, and the restaurant was quite good. I would say something nice about the bev cart, but we only saw it twice in 18 holes. I think thats not quite often enough.

As a visitor to Vegas you just dont know what youre going to get as you shop around all the courses via the internet deals. So I called and made my tee time direct with Rick at the Pro shop. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone was at this place. Rick was great and the deal he gave me was terrific. The starter, the concession stand lady, and the cart girls were super friendly and very accommodating. They had Callaway rental clubs (lefties even). The course was in pretty good shape with an interesting layout. I found the last few holes very challenging. I definitely recommend for a fun round of golf. Its not a snooty Country Club type and didnt cost nearly as much as the Country Clubs (some are $500 per round in Vegas). Its a good course with good friendly people. Thanks to everyone at Wildhorse!

This course is close enough to the strip and cheap if you play twilight. The course is not the best Ive played, but its certainly not a bad experience. One thing Id like to add is on my last round here, I ran into 3 loose dogs without a human owner in sight. The first 2 dogs (looked like golden retrievers) were together and seemed docile enough. The 3rd one though (I think it was around the 14th hole) was a mutt and it came out of nowhere and pounced on a baby duck. It ended up killing the duck in front of us and leaving feathers all over the green. Not exactly the most pleasant of experiences!

You kinda get the feel that the have enough business to get by here based on the customer service and overall feel. We showed up with a groupon and they told us "they" were not supposed to be offering any more of them and our tee time was double booked....confusing to me because we chose a tee time with purchase of the groupon. He said he could get us out eventually and did. Based on how busy it was I thought it would have to be a pretty nice course but it was just okay.

For those whom havent been to a terrible course and rate this one low lmao you dont know crap. Dry fairways play fast but the greens are slow. Maybe take your own game into consideration. The elevation changes were a great change to the typical flat course let alone the variety of landscapes. Wonderful ALL around course. Cant wait to play again

I went to Las Vagas to visit a relative and we went out to Wildhorse Golf Club. I enjoyed the pars because they were all unique. I played it in under 4 hours. It was a lot of fun! Afterwards, we went to the restaurant. The food was amazing! Overall, I think this is a great place. Next time I see my relative, I plan to come back here to golf.

I wouldnt suggest this course. The greens are like putting in downtown Baghdad, fairways are shotty at best. Take your $79 non resident fee and place it on Black. Beautiful landscaping and clubhouse grounds, golf course is a two thumbs down.

This is a pretty fun golf course. It had a few interesting holes. This course was in much nicer shape than Black Mountain, which I played a couple days earlier. This course features a couple of large ponds, which was interesting.

The fairways were cut but the clippings were left whereas I lost 3 balls in the fairways. The greens are terrible. They have grass on the greens but its too long so they are extremely slow.

We for the disk golf. $10 and you get a cart TOO. THEY DID A GOOD JOB OF BLENDING THE DISC GOLF IN WITH THE REGULAR GOLF.

Ok course but not worth the money. There are many better courses in Vegas most for a lower rate also.

Price is right. Course was in decent shape considering the oppressive heat. Staff are helpful

Apparently they have stopped watering the fairways. Call and inquire before you schedule.
