A Private User

For 18 holes and a cart, you’ll pay just shy of $30 on weekdays and it is a well played course. Like any course in May, there’s patches that need to be tended to and ARE getting attention. Sand traps are fair, with well driven cart paths. Fairways are above acceptable, but some are getting attention for some winter kill, which is not a huge issue. Greens roll well for the most part and can be quick in areas. The roughs are mowed in medium length and dont create too much resistance in swings. Enjoyed the clubhouse environment and groundskeepers, along with the groups of golfers on the course. I would say the only down fall is there can be slow golfers with crowded, non-golfer groups and slows down play. There is crowded tee boxes between 10 and 5ish in the P.M. Experience it for yourself.

This is a short but really fun course. Par 68. The majority if the par 4s on the front are drivable if you are hitting approximately 300 yds. I would not suggest walking this course as it is very hilly, there is significant distance between holes, and if you are playing 9, hole 9 is about 3 holes from the clubhouse. The course is in good condition on the fairway and greens. Rough was pretty dry (August), but thats expected at a course of this price. Greens are relatively small. Vast majority of the tees are elevated, holes 1, 2 are a great example of that with ~50 ft drop from tee to green.

This is a public city course that charges private pricess. We payed 29 bucks for 9 holes and a cart, not to mention - being forced to pair with a single. I dont think any one of the holes require two shots to reach the green. This said, the blind greens lead to many close calls (hitting into golfers in front of you). The place is loaded with hipster near by playing frisbee and screaming. If you happen to be in college or a hipster, this will fit you just fine. Omaha is loaded with decent lower cost rounds of golf. I would recommend using Golf Now before you plan a outing to ElmWood.

Had a 1235 tee time today for nine holes. Came back to my car to find a smashed window. Told management and all I got was sorry. I know youre sorry, not being facetious, but this guy never came outside to look or help. Piss poor management skills and human compassion.

This is a relatively short course. No par 5s. Par 68. Usually in great shape. As of April 2017 they are making major improvements to the cart paths.

PRICES ARE OUTRAGOUS FOR 2 PEOPLE TO PLAY. JUST AERATED, SO INSTEAD OF 30$ A PERSON ITS 70. $140 TO GOLF? EVEN WITH COUPON YOU STILL GET HOSED.

Elmwood has really improved over the last 3 years. It was a little worn when I first golfed it but has been revitalized and is a gem.

A fairly nice course that is reasonably priced. You may have to share a tee time if you dont have a full group depending on demand.
