This is a classic tourist destination. Its exactly what you would expect from the name and the colorful website and brochures, though surprisingly its also quite beautiful in that Pure Michigan way. I recommend walking down by the dam or looking out over the lake. But mostly I recommend reveling in the fun, especially if you love Halloween or horror or just plain silliness. They offer tons of photo opportunities, mini golf (Hell themed, of course), a restaurant, a saloon, and a gift shop/ice cream parlor/post office. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The food at the Hell Hole diner was delicious. My favorite activity was getting post cards singed and mailed! Definitely worth a day trip if youre in southeast Michigan. Heads up: this place is a bit "middle of nowhere" so dont count on your cell service working. The diner did offer free wifi though.

Screams is a novelty place to go when in Hell. And youd go for the ice cream as the store name indicates, but its usually closed in the winter. Pretty nifty place to pass by in the summer and have a taste of hells ice cream. The next most awesome thing about this place is that you get to go the souvenir shop just right next to it for all your Hell shenanigans. Let everyone youve been through hell and back with a tshirt. And because this place is such a novelty place to go, the "backyard" has SO many things for super awesome photo-ops. So grab your cash for the icecream but grab your camera for the pics youre about to take when you come here.

Went there to get souvenirs, t-shirts, etc. What a disappointment! I thought we were going to get some fun pics of spooky things. Was very hokey. Not sure why bikers hang out here (this town), this place is for children. No t-shirts for ladies. (They had a ladies section but they are the boxy mens t-shirts in smaller sizes-not made for a woman.) Selection was awful. Went home empty handed & wasted gas getting there.

took a canoe out on the water, lets just say, listen to them how to get back, no signs on the water. had to get picked up, this is not an easy thing to do if you cant read a map They were so nice there, the owner even gave us a free ice cream, because of what happen to us. would do this again but with more people, it was just me and my girlfriend, and she is scared of water.

What an awesome little store. We are working on the pipeline in the area & this place made our day. I bought post cards for everyone. They will burn the edges & will also stamp it & mail it for you straight from Hell. They also have tons of gifts. I stamped some pennies & grabbed some cool magnets & T-shirts. Thanks guys for creating a place with such a great vibe.

This place was great, a tiny piece of road where Hell does exist. The gift shop was filled with fun things to send home. My parents renewed their vows here as one of my mothers last wishes. The accommodated every need we had and the lady, Emily, who is in charge is wonderfully filled with energy. It was a pleasure to visit and do business here.

This is a fun souvenir store with great t-shirts and gifts. They also sell a beautiful map of the Highland Lake and Half Moon Lake chain. Be sure to have some ice cream and make it a Sunday from the coffin using ghost poop and bat droppings. They also have a putt putt golf for the kids and a shaded view of the dam.

We were married here on June 26th, 2016! It was a beautiful little chapel and the lady who runs the place was so nice and very helpful! We contacted her (kinda) last minute and she was very eager to help us, no questions asked. I could go on but I believe these reviews have a limit. Absolutely love this place!

My family of 5 stopped by for an ice cream cone and met Eric, a former Survivor contestant. He was sweet to talk with my 10 yr old son about the show. The ice cream was ok, but the sugar cones were very stale. Nice array of Halloween and gag gifts.

Clearly a tourist trap, but ... that shouldnt surprise you. Clever oarts. Nice views of the river and "dam site". Minigolf was set up well with clever jokes and decorations at most holes, but ... needed some maintenance.

Loved it! This is the location of Hell, Michigan. It even has its own post office zip code. Its a wonderful trip to the middle of nowhere. The wife and i are planning another trip in the near future.

Went here on a first date, sometime later came back again and proposed to that young lady. On our 3rd trip we got married in Hell. For as we all know, "A marriage that starts in Hell, can only move up.

Nice little gift shop located in Hell, Michigan. Not a huge selection but is all themed for a visit to "hell". They were lacking in bumper stickers/window decals. Great place for a t-shirt person.

Love this place if you can find it open, despite the signs displaying the hours. We have often arrived long before the posted closing time to find the doors locked, even on nice weather days.

The people running this store were very nice and accommodating. Fun novelty store full of hellish gifts. You can miss this little hamlet if you arent looking for it. Become Mayor for a Day!

Somebody told me to go to hell, so I did. This place is touristy, but fun. Lots of t-shirts and souvenirs for those so inclined. The ice cream is great, and bring your camera.

The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. Such a small space, but a nice experience. Has the feel of an up north touristic attraction nearby.

why is it called Go To HELL! The food there is terrible. All the food is all sacrificed people and animals. The waiters are all minions of the anti-christ.

If I withhold the truth may I go straight to Hell where I will eat ice cream and good food and drink naught but burning hot cola.

Came to escape the cold - much warmer in hell then in Canada. Great stop to stretch the legs, and have a laugh! thanks!

Super great staff. Great idea! And note: There is no dependable WiFi in hell!!! That is the eternal damnation part....

They could do better than a Halloween scene. We liked that when you send a card they burn around them. Way cool.

Not a Dab friendly place. Avid dabbers like me cannot visit here without being escorted off of the premises. :(
