First of all, the intersection has a great selection in bands that they have doing shows in their venue. Ive been attending the venue for almost 3 years and have never once been disappointed by an artist(s) performance. On a side note; if you are ordering alcohol order beer, because they are very bad at making mixed drinks and very cheap when it comes to their liquor. Also, their security staff and bouncers are very disrespectful. A couple of them seem like genuinely nice guys, but the majority of them have "little man syndrome." They will get upset over stupid crap like if you are standing in a spot that they do not want you to stand without explaining why, and they will "man-handle" people in a crowd without explanation. I understand it is their job to keep the environment safe and enjoyable for everyone for the shows, but the way that these ass-holes go about it is terrible. Ive never personally been detained or caused any issue at the venue, but I have been detained and even cussed at by the Head of their Security for trying to claim a "Meet-and-Greet" prize I had won to go and meet one of the bands that play. Most of the staff, when asked, could not tell you what is going on or where you should be, and didnt even know that a contest was held. After the show I went back stage to say goodbye to the band one last time before leaving and was detained 3 TIMES before being allowed to just tell them that I enjoyed their performance. When I got back stage, 4/7 security guards I saw working there that night were smoking marijuana in the back with the band. Just doesnt seem like the security I would want working for my venue. The Bartenders are all really nice people and do their best to greet you and get your order out to you in a timely fashion (even if they go a little light on their liquor). All in all, 3/5 stars.

I have been to the intersection before. Great place to see shows. The bartenders work hard and are always awesome and on top of their job.The bouncers are great as well. What really grinded my gears it that I showed up for a show an hour late and still had to wait a half an hour in line to get in. Totally missed the first band. The few other times I have been there it has taken the bands an hour after the doors opened to get ready to play so I thought I was safe. But I was wrong. I talked with a number of people inside and they were in the same boat. Why did they take so long to open the doors to the public? So many people missed out on a great band playing a good set. It was a packed show but the management could have done a better job of managing how people entered and exited the venue. There were several times throughout the evening that they would not let people leave the venue. There were so many people at this particular show it was a total fire hazard. They were probably sold out but just kept letting people in. It was good for the bands that there were so many people there but if a fire broke out many people would have died. I am sure that every show that goes on there was not like this one but it was not very well managed. Show up early!

No ventilation or air movement (fans). The place was so humid; condensation was dripping from the ceiling and covered the walls. People were disgustingly sweaty and plenty passing out. The bouncers spent more time flirting with people than watching the crowd and doing their job. There was a guy screaming at his girlfriend right in her face and the bouncer did nothing and an underage chick who was so drunk she was crashing into people. At the end of the show they had one exit open, the front exit, and decided it was a good idea to have the merch table there so now 2,000 people are trying to exit down a narrow passage. Other exits were available but when trying to get out the security guy said "this is no longer an exit" but there were people outside smoking. If a fire would have started people would have surely died because of the lack of exits. There was no path for crowd surfers to get out. They had to plow thru the crowd completely disoriented not knowing where they were going. It was a disaster. I will never go to another show here again.

The place was nice and tickets were cheap, but staff did nothing about people pushing themselves around into other people and especially into children. (I went to a family show.) Kids were getting hurt. Similarly, they did nothing when some adults started hitting on some younger women who obviously were minors, since the staff wrote "M" on the backs of the hands on all minors. Dont go if you want a controlled environment, be prepared to walk out with bruises and aching limbs from being pushed around and tripped. And if youre a young woman, bring a taser or something. Or better yet, dont go! I wont be going back. Also, eat well and drink lots of water before you go, because they charge $3 for soda in a cup the size of what you get for free at a casino. Imagine a kids-meal size drink with no refills. DO NOT ATTEND A CONCERT HERE unless youre a die-hard fan of the band, prepared to walk out with bruises, and youre fine with guys hitting on your girlfriend that are twice her age.

Just saw Nick Carter there on March 18th. The show was amazing, the tour staff was wonderful! However, majority of The Intersections staff were quite rude! I didnt personally have any encounters with them, however Im a people watcher and just listening to them talk to people, I wasnt impressed. Then we had paid for VIP Meet & Greet, and the venue was unable to provide for us what they were supposed to. In addition to soundcheck we were also supposed to get an opportunity to do crowd free merchandise shopping, but instead they kicked us outside as soon as soundcheck and photos were over. We had to be there at 3pm per our VIP email instructions, but the venue didnt start letting us in until around 4pm. The entire group of us were pushed back outside after an hour and then spent the next 2 hours standing in line outside in the cold. They were so very unorganized. But, like I said, the concert itself was awesome.

Shows can be great but the staff and security are incompetent pertaining to manners and fair treatment. Go to shows anywhere else first, I have been here several times now and have never been treated well besides by the coat check lady and female bartender. Each time I come here I feel like I dont want to go back, and I am to the point where I dont go as often. No wonder why the place is full of weirdos, they chase off the higher value clients. I offered $50 to enter a $12 venue that sold out right as I was next in line and the lady started yelling at me and told me to get out. I asked only once and before I could turn around I was being pushed backwards down the steps. Thank god I didnt get hurt because that was incredibly irrational. I tip coat check $10 or more a night and easily $30 to the bar. I hope they dont miss me when Im not there anymore.
