I played Lynnfield golf course back in the early 90s and it was a horrible experience and I vowed to never return, but then a customer came into my store and told me that they had changed so I decided to try it out (18 year later) and they have made a lot of changes. They still have a few artificial grass tee, but they are also growing tee boxes for next year. Someone said that the fairways are too close and dangerous. I disagree. Ive played hundreds of courses all over the world and this course is not dangerous to play. They have some of the best greens I have played. The fairways are a bit hard and the grass is a bit scarce, but this also gives you more run and usually using a pitching wedge for the second shot. They just cleared some trees in back of the 5th green which drives more wind and makes the par 5 play a bit longer and thats a good thing. The 6th hole is a short par 3 138 yards, but with no trees to block the wind, you could be hitting a 4 iron if the pin is on the top layer. All in all I say this is a fun course to play except for the steep $43 fee for 18 and a cart. There are several course in the area that are much better and cost less, but if youre looking for a fun course that plays relatively fast and also boosts your confidence, check it out.

This course is absolutley HORRIBLE,the tee off areas are made of TURF,which makes almost impossible to put your tee in.POORLY designed course(dont know what they were thinkin,A blind person could have done a better job)The holes are to close together leaving no room for error, and believe me there are alot of them, came VERY close to getting HIT by several balls.Cant believe they charge what they do,and get away with it.There is a pretty good deal $10 bucks(after 6pm),You will be LUCKY to finish half the course b4 it gets dark and the MOSQUITOS eat U alive. This course is 4 HACKERS ONLY(although they should not play here EITHER).DO yourself a favor LOOK around,do some research there are plenty of courses out there,THIS 1 JUST PLAIN SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Lynnfield should be ASHAMED of themselves......................................
when i went here to play golf i put down my puck and i was about to swing my lucky stick when the manager ran out and attacked me with a plastic hammer. after he could down he got me a cup of joe and told me that their will be a battle on this very place in three years. he asked me to join it and i said i would so he gave me an honorary plastic hammer to remember my promise

Played a charity tournament there and I would be offended as a human if they charge more than 2.50 for a round. I think they stole half the tee boxes from a cheap driving range. I cant recommend this course to anyone who isnt a personal enemy. Pure garbage.
Poor conditions and mediocre customer service. Not worth it.
My child takes lessons and plays golf here. We enjoy it!
Needs actual tee boxes with grass.
