I gave this place 1 star only because I had to. If there was an option for negative zero stars then that is what they wouldve gotten based off my experience! The hall in it self was very beautiful, but the owners of The Event Center LaMaison Celebrazione are HORRIBLE! Ive NEVER in my life witnessed anything like them! My sister and brother in-law had their wedding and reception here this past Saturday and from what Ive been told theyve had issues once they paid their money. I will only speak on what I know and witnessed myself. The day before the wedding we were there for the rehearsal and everything was going well. Some of the men were bringing in the decorations and the next thing you know the owner (wife) comes charging from the stage screaming and yelling at the guys about propping the back door open. I wouldve thought she was yelling at her kids they way she was pointing her fingers and yelling about the door being opened! She then threatened to turn the air off and 20 minutes later the air was OFF! Once we were done with the rehearsal we discussed with the wife what time we could come back in the morning to finish decorating. My sister wanted to come early as possible, so she asked if we could come at 8am. The owner (wife) was a little hesitant, but she agreed we could come from 8am-11am. At that time I asked her what time did we have the hall from the day of the wedding and she said until 1am. Since Id heard other stories about another woman whom had her wedding there I asked her if we had to clean up in the morning or the night of the wedding. She then said that clean up needed to happen the night of the wedding. Which was from 12am-1am. I then said, so the wedding is from 5pm-12am with a clean up time from 12am-1am and the wife agreed. The next morning my sister, her mother in-law and others were there at 8am to decorate and to their surprise there was no one there to let them in. My father called the owners and spoke with the husband and he said that HE did not agree to 8am. Long story short, they eventually were let in. During the reception there were other issues. They walked around like they were guest at the wedding. They would not let us serve our cold drinks behind the bar, nor would they give us ice to serve our cold drinks, NOT alcohol, but cold drinks. 9pm rolls around and we are being kicked out of the hall! Not because our guest were fighting or we were doing something illegal, but because the owners had been there since 8am and they were now ready to go! Luckily my father had his contract, which stated we had the hall until 1am and the owner (husband) brought out another paper which was NOT in my fathers contract that showed different times and said these were the times we needed to abide by! The officers who my father hired told my father that we could stay until 1am, but my father did not want anymore issues and decided we should leave and he would take them to court. While my father, the police and the owner (husband) were discussing the contract I pulled the wife to the side to talk to her about the times her and I had talked about the night before. The wife then claimed that she could not remember telling me that and she was confused! This is the worst case of professionalism Ive ever witnessed and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who is having an event in Hammond and is need of a hall!

I had the opportunity to view the Event center with a friend who is getting married soon at the grand opening. I was so impressed with this reception hall. This is defiantly a place I could see myself having my wedding one day. We were given a tour by Mrs. Robin Abrams and she explained how each room could be utilized for so many things. The chapel area is going to be amazing. This is a place every bride should look at before making their decision on their wedding venue.

The owner Mr. Sal is very easy to work with. He has made our experience awesome. The Hammond Event Center is a very large spacious area for any kind of event. We have had a wedding and a bridal show. Our experience for both was great! The new marble outside patio is breathtaking. Go and check out the Hammond Event Center for your next gathering, you will be pleased. Telll Mr. Sal that Carla sent ya. ;)

I had the opportunity to tour this new facility. Words cannot discribe how beautiful it is. This facility is definitely a premier event center. The moment you walk in you feel like you are in a reception facility in new Orleans. It is very unique and can be used for so many functions. Thank you Mrs. Tressa for the grand tour. I am looking forward to attending the grand opening.

We recently gave my niece a baby shower at the Event center.Tressa was so accommodating to make our party so nice. The platinum room was perfect for our small baby shower. I would suggest this facility to anyone that needs a small intimate room or a large ball room for your special wedding day. The accommodations are amazing.
