Course looks and plays well since the renovations and weve been a couple of times. I highly recommend you try it out if youve not been in a while under new ownership now by the Weir family so more renovations coming I hear. Also, it is a course you will see deer and geese that is FAMILY FRIENDLY. Where else can you teach a 3 year old to love the game. He now watches golf and has a set of clubs. Plastic but it is a start!

Since the storms have wiped out the trees surrounding most of the fairways, the wind plays a much bigger factor than in recent years. The greens are usually some of the fastest in the region, but because they are bent grass they are extremely soft except during the middle of summer. The course can be tough when played from the tips with some forced carries off the tee and into several greens.

I played Madisonville County Club golf course yesterday. .07.20.2017..The course is in excellent shape,the staff is very friendly and I expected to pay more as per the shape of the course.I will return soon.

Great golf course. If you have a slice be prepared for a bunch of houses to the right of most on the holes though. Made me very nervous.
