While staying in LBL, I took time to learn about the wildlife of the region on my own. While exploring all the parks of the region, I made a point to stop at the Woodlands Nature Station. They had all of the animals that I had read about in my leaflets and it was spectacular to see them up close. All of the animals seemed healthy and happy. Conveniently, we arrived at feeding time, so all of the animals were close to the fence waiting for their food. All of the employees were very friendly and ready to answer any questiom we through their way. If you are in the area, I reccomend stopping by as it is fun for adults and children.

Very beautiful little nature centre! All of the habitats looked well maintained. I did not like that the birds of prey were kept on tethers - one falcon tried to fly and was stopped short of his leash, very sad. I think it would be much kinder to build them small aviaries.

I have loved this place since I was a child and now have a son of my own that loves it too. Very beautiful, healthy looking animals and a great place to learn about them. The Nature Station is a must see if youre staying in the area or love animals.
