Ive been to Sips twice. The first time a friend of mine was singing in a band and we had a good time, even though the service was a bit slow. The second time, the service was slow, but understandable... until it was time to pay. The people I was with were already outside when I realized I needed to close my tab. I went back and stated to the bartender that I needed to close out whenever he was ready. I waited... and waited. Then two blond women were invited behind the bar to pour their own drinks - multiple health and service violations! The bartenders just stood there and cheered them on until they were done. I then waited... and waited. Eventually I screamed at one of them to give me my check. I gave them no tip and left very angry. This bar has nothing of interest at all... plus crappy service.

Typically college bar. Its a fun place for what it is. If youre expecting some high end place with nice bathrooms and fancy atmosphere then youre in the wrong spot.

Low quality service, expensive drinks for small amounts of liquor. It does have pool tables that you need to pay to play. Typical college bar.

Always packed. Terrible bathrooms. Long wait for drinks. Free drinks at Sips OClock (11pm). Its a fun college bar where you can go to dance.

nice place to hangout with friends. It gets hot and sweaty when its crowded though. Want free drinks? make it to Sips O Clock (11 PM).

I occasionally have fun dancing here but the floor is often too sticky and too packed. Staff are unfriendly.
