Honestly, not a great venue for house or electronic music. Its very cliche with big and extremely bright screens on the wall making the entire club far too light. Every 5 minutes or so, bottle service is delivered to those sitting in the "VIP" section, complete with very obnoxious sparklers carried out by half-naked girls. It makes sense for edm shows, but when you have an underground DJ playing, turn the lights off, keep things classy, and nix the stupid sparklers brought out with bottle service. The only reason I have and will ever consider going again is that this seems to be the only public venue that hosts Deep House DJs in MN. If you want a true House experience, youre better off flying to Europe, NYC or San Fran, or if you want to stay in MN, find a way to see DVS1.

Ive always had good experiences at this club. Its small but I like that. Its always kept clean and classy. If you have been to someplace like 1st ave, this club is the complete opposite :) Service here is always great as well. I called earlier tonight to see if tickets would be available at the door for a show this Friday, and if so how much they would be. A lady from the Union (bar upstairs that owns and operates REV) answered and was able to answer my question fairly confidently. I was surprised when I got a text 5 minutes later from Matt from REV. He saw a missed call to REV and offered his assistance. Not sure if he knew I had been helped already but its a testament to the Union/REVs customer service.

Everything was pretty good and reasonable. lounge is nice and drinks are valuable. Not blown away by anything but only complaint was the bouncers were a little rude at the end of the night. After the show it was only 2 am, and no one was allowed to wait in the entry on a cold night for friends to regroup after coat check. Pretty much shoved outside. Every command had a foul word it. Night felt kind of like eating a nice meal then washing it down with a warm PBR. Not a super way to treat guests who each spend about 60 bucks...

Thanks to the work of SIMshows and REV, some excellent, world-renowned DJs come to REV for up-close-and-personal sets, a relatively unique and uncommon experience considering many of the DJs easily fill large clubs and festivals. That said, the small venue can be somewhat claustrophobic. Drink prices are about average for a club ($7-10). Most people are friendly.

This venue is is so small that there is no room to dance and every time Ive attended a show Ive gotten spilled on by drunk people. No matter how bad I want to see an act at this venue I will not go. This venue ruins everything show Ive seen because they pack the people in like sardines.

I havent been back here in a few years, but since they remodeled for concerts its a lot better. Still could get rid of some of the VIP tables to make more room for walking/dancing, but I cant have it all. Strong drinks and nice bathrooms.

I literally go here every weekend. Between Union Rooftop and Rev Ultra Lounge @ Union. Beautiful people, great DJs, and an intimate, elegant environment.

Too many VIP tables that take up too much of the dance floor. Pricey drinks. I like the smoke machine there though

Was a great show but the venue is very small and 70% of it was VIP section. Average service

Loud. Expensive drinks. Dance floor and lounge. Giant music visualizers. Awesome atmosphere.

The drink selection is minimal, but the venue is great for a more intimate show.
