Okay, you may think this is a bit crazy and it is, but it is so worth it to see this! Make a reservation to paint your own layer of paint on the ball. We went with another family and the kids had a blast picking the paint color and painting the ball. One of the best parts about this, the excitement of the people who own it. Mike came out with his wife and son and they explained how it all started. His enthusiasm is what is worth the drive. He told us all about the ball, when the Guinness people examined the ball and how the structure came to be that holds the ball. We signed a book to note which layer we were responsible for and we each walked away with a certificate noting the layer number we painted, the color and the date. Very cool. It is a great memory.

This is a really fun little tourist trap. It really is the largest ball of paint. When you go, you get to paint a new coat on the ball. They give you a certificate, and let you sign the wall. People from all over the world have been there. The proprietor is very friendly and will tell you the whole story of the ball. They dont ask for money, but I suggested leaving a five dollar tip in the jar. Have fun!
