A gem in Tennessee. Stayed here two nights for our anniversary. Charlien and George were wonderful and so accomodating. Definitely have breakfast in the courtyard by the fountain. You can choose what time and where breakfast is to be served! It is delicious and very filling. Definitely tour the mansion, it is really enjoyable and worth it, especially if you like Victorian furniture and architecture. Cutest little giftshop with all sorts knick knacks and unusual items. A few minutes from cumberland caverns. We will stay there again if we return to the area. (Thank you for everything!)

This place is very historic. The location was great for our needs. We went to the Underground Bluegrass. All the decor is older as is with the time period of mansion. Owners would not reveal any info about the place without paying the tour fee of 12 dollars. Breakfast was skinny and cold as its brought from another building. We stayed in honeymoon room. Nice and cozy but you must like a rock hard bed. Pillows were yellow Brown stained. We cancelled our 2nd nt.

We had a wonderful time here. We participated in General Morgans Ball with a group in that day and stayed in the Carriage House Room thats part of their B&B. The mansion is a miracle of restoration (before and after pictures are in the gift shop). The breakfast was first-rate with fresh pineapple, a sausage and cheese omlet, a hot apple turnover, and a biscuit. My wife had hot tea (her request) and I had orange juice, all served in our room.

We were looking to take a day trip to a place weve never been, and found this place on the internet. The food was delicious, and the tour was so interesting. We really enjoyed our day. The gift shop was really nice but my only complaint is that some of the items are too pricey. Other than that, everything was great and I would highly recommend checking this place out!

We actually had a great tour today with the guy who owned the house now. George gave us a really good tour and answered a lot of our questions. The amount of effort it took to restore this place is quite amazing. George kept it very interesting and we got to see a lot of it thanks to the recent renovations. Its truly a hidden gem in Middle Tennessee! Go check it out!

Stopped for afternoon tea while in the area. Some of the best scones I have ever had. Very interesting tour of a building with solid brick wall on the interior not just the exterior. I am certainly glad that the hosts saved this place from certain ruin based on the restoration story. The grounds were lovely and they have plans for more all the time.

We stopped by on way home to Nashville from weekend on Center Hill Lake. Great surprise. We loved the tour and the amazing restoration and history of this significant piece of middle Tennessee history. Highly recommended for small groups or tours. We want to go back for the dinner theater. Steve & Jackie, Brentwood March 18, 2012
