I am a long-time paintballer here to do a review of this park from the perspective of an enthusiast (not a kid-party rental-gun visitor)! This place has a lot to prove given that it lives in the Chicagoland area where there are other high-brow places like CPX and PB Explosion. Price: The usual prices. $80 for a case. Admission and rental are reasonable (though hunt for Groupons in order to save the most money you can). Fields/maps: They have 5 maps and Im afraid 3 of them are nearly unplayable. The 3 Im talking about are in heavily wooded areas that have not been well-maintained. Consequently there is brush everywhere and it doesnt make playing paintball super fun. Even if you are into woodsball, you will probably find that these maps need much more thoughtful design and maintenance. There are, luckily, two fields in a more open arenas with relatively thoughtful placement of scenario-type bunkers. (For some specific feedback on Fallout to the owners, I recommend placing cover on the long sides of the huge structure in order to make them usable for players to advance - otherwise it is a very long pathway of death). Clientele: I was there only once so I have a small sample, but among the open-play crowd, there was an enormous number of little kids and other people who do not play paintball and were there renting with large parties. People were rampantly discharging their paintball markers rampantly, removing their masks, not having barrel socks on when they were supposed to, and shooting me in the back (as a friendly). And they just hang around in the back hiding, which is natural, and makes for amusing play for a few rounds but gets pretty boring and uncompetitive. Referees: They are nice enough people, but as Ive found in many smaller-scale paintball fields that hire local teenagers for paintball, they did not have a great interest in facilitating an expedient day for their patrons. It seemed (as is natural for a teenaged summer worker) more of a job they were trudging through. Game organizing was *painfully* slow (almost to the point where I would consider it a waste of time and money to go here for a full day and pay admission, given how few games they got together in the whole day). They lack leadership and organizing skills to get everyone together, split people into teams, and get through games in a timely fashion. Theyre still pretty nice though, and their actual refereeing during the games was competent and caring. Safety: The refs are genuinely interested in safety but I think they lack the command presence and efficiency needed to match the inherent dangerous behavior of the hordes of noobs and idiot kids that come through to have a bucket-list-paintball day. I was seriously concerned for my eyeballs when we were walking to and from fields, and even just in the staging areas. (As another piece of specific feedback to the owners, I suggest setting up netting directly outside your fields to serve as the deadboxes; that will allow people to remove their masks safely while waiting, and I suspect that that release will actually reduce the amount of habitual mask-removing people do in unsafe areas). Pro-shop: There is none, which is a bummer.

The place rocks, cant beat the price, especially the membership. Kind of bummed about not getting the membership kit yet, but still a cool place. Has alot of potential though, like expanding the fields, cutting back some brush and rerunning the out of bound lines. The type of game play can be changed a bit too, such as more respawns, more objectives with unlimited respawns (or its just a deathmatch) and more ref action like watching for hits (for those who do not call their hits) They cant see it all, but certainly more than from the deadbox. Good place though, would like a suggestion box or something. I would even volunteer my time to run some of those lines or cut back some brush. Thats how much I like the place and believe that it can be that much better. Rock on!

Good place. Great for beginners. New, laid back crowd. Most players have rentals. Most players with personal guns did not try to bully the beginners(one did. tought him some manners). Nothing elaborate. Staff was friendly. Fields have some cover barriers. Other than that, strictly woodsball. What this place lacks is the constant action that a CPX provides in Bedlam. I have been there twice and getting out more than once per hour was not likely. Their entry and paint prices are high, In line with CPX and PBX. This place does not have the amenities of those places yet. If you can get in on the discount days, I greatly recommend this for all.

I was so excited to come here when I learned about this place. I would give it more stars because the place is awesome, but the staff was horrible. The girl handing out the equipment and registering people was constantly on her phone and ignoring my group. Two referees were awesome, but we were pulled out of our game because we were giving wrong information that we were a private group. Overall place is awesome just needs better structure and staff.

So much fun!!! I celebrated my birthday at Legacy with a bunch of friends and it was an awesome experience! Ben helped set up everything and was so professional and nice. Once there, checking in and preparing was easy. Our ref, Kenny, was awesome!!! He helped make sure we had a great time and even recorded a mannequin challenge video for us! I definitely recommend them!

THIS IS A VERY DISAPPOINTING PLACE...MY BROTHER MADE A RESERVATION FOR HIS BDAY WITH 13 PEOPLE. PAID ONLINE AND EVERYTHING AND WE SHOW UP EARLY ENOUGH LIKE THE RESERVATION SAID AND NO ONE IS HERE. THE GATES ARE LOCKED AND ONLINE SAYS OPEN. PHONE NUMBERS DONT WORK. THIS IS ALL A JOKE. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY PLACE. THEY JUST STOLE THE MONEY.

I had a really great time here, a lot of nice people helped introduce the sport to me, and the ref was really nice too. Im glad I came here for my first airsoft game. The only problem is that I got shot pretty close and I wish that the maps were a bit bigger, but overall I had a great time and will definitely come back here.

I love coming to legacy with my cousin. The refs are cool the maps are great and the community is chill and laid back. Id say my favorite maps ate sanctuary and voodoo. Plus silver membership is the greatest.
