We visited the museum in July on the way from S.C. to our summer home in N.C. and again in September with the Stephen Ambros "Band of Brothers" tour. Your museum is very well done and you should be proud of the way you have preserved the 101st Airborne historical artifacts. On our tour we visited the Utah Beach Museum in France and while it is biggger than Currahee it doesnt reprsent the 101st Airborne as well. We will return often on uor trips from Florida to our home in the mountaiss. Bill M.

I work along side the Currahee Military Museum. I am praying he Welcome Center Director. It is a fascinating museum that offers so much rich history of not only the City of Toccoa & Stephens County, but the Currahee Military, that trained right here in the 40s. the first paratroopers were trained at the base of Currahee Mountain. In this 14,000 sq museum, you will be amazed by the quality, the history shared. This is one place you do not want to miss!

Absolutely amazing museum here, if you are a history buff or just enjoy seeing our history this place is perfect. The ladies at the Chamber of Commerce (which serves as the start ) are super helpful and super nice and are willing to help with anything you may need. Ray at the museum gift shop was also full of history knowledge. I will be going back and I highly recommend this to anyone who has watched Band of Brothers.

You need some signs pointing you to the museum!! I drove out to Toccoa from I-85 hoping to visit the museum on my way back to South Carolina from Atlanta, but instead ended up taking a VERY frustrating tour of your little town. Im sure your place is nice, but USELESS if you cannot find it. I and my wife are sorely disappointed today.

Was there 1 June 13. Ran Currahee and then visited the museum. I and my family were very pleased with the museum. I recommend this as part of a bucket list for people to see especially if you have seen the "Band of Brothers. Looking forward to running Currahee next year. bob

Going to Toccoa was on my bucket list. Ive read and watched everything I could about the Airborne. Especially the 506th Toccoa men. Seeing the stuff inside the museum topped with going up CURAHEE with my family. Experience Ill never forget. Cant wait to come back.

A must see if you are a fan of WWII history. Run/Walk the nearby Currahee "Sink" memorial trail. Kids will enjoy it too!
