Ive been to a few dog parks and I really like this dog park for several reasons: 1) Some parks have a lot of grassy flat land and then a few benches or tables here or there for the humans to congregate to. This park has trees everywhere (lots of shade cover), uneven platforms of ground, logs on the ground, and benches everywhere in small groups throughout the park. There must be at least 50+ benches in this park. Theres also a perimeter walking trail if you wanted to talk with your dog along a trail. 2) My dog gets plenty of exercise not just running, but leaping the fallen trees and jumping up and down the platforms 3) My dog loves to stay and play with some of the dogs in the "town center" area of the park, but then sometimes shell see someone walking the perimeter and shell hitch a few walks around the perimeter and come back to the town center. Its so flexible and easy for the dogs to not easily get bored. 4) There are watering bins here so if you forget to bring water, you can use some from the bins. Same for doggie waste bags. The only thing Id say is that closer to the mosquito season, bring some bug spray.

Dog Park Review. Tucked in the back of the park with plenty of space and shade for dogs and owners. I live nearby so I take my dog here every weekend. No one discriminates here which is a great thing but just make sure you are a responsible owner. Follow every normal dog park etiquette and youll be fine here. Youll find some dogs not being supervised by their owners so you deal with that. Its usually clean but youll find dog feces here and there. Some dogs humping others and no owners stepping in or aware. Lots of shade and lots of sun, theres a "muddy" area after it rains so be careful if you dont want you dog getting too dirty. Not too much grass. Plenty of dog water stations in the area but no owner restrooms so beware. My dog has a ton of fun here so we love and enjoy coming here. Great people and great dogs. Thank you to the volunteers who keep this place great!

First impressions are lasting ones. I would normally visit Newton Dog park in Alpharetta because of my move into Chamblee-Dunwoody area; I decided to visit a closer park. Brook Run dog park is huge. There is no separation between small or larger dogs. The people (dog owners) are nice, but I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PARK again. My small dog (Juju:a morkie) was attacked by 6-8 big dogs. Juju life was in danger. I feel like a bad parent for even taking my Juju out of his norm. I will take the 30 minute drive to Alpharetta so Juju can have a safe and wonderful experience. Brook Run Dog park gets several thumbs down.

Excellent dog park. Multiple acres, largely wooded, so there is plenty of shade. If you want to sit, there are benches all around. The volunteers do an outstanding job with cleanup and making sure water is available for the woofers running around. Unlike other dog parks there is no large, clear field, but the paths and open spaces between the trees let the dogs run their hearts out. Enjoy it while you can, the city is likely going to relocate this park later this year.

This is a review exclusively of the playground area, which is where I tend to hang out with my young children. The area had been really well done, with close proximity to bathrooms and half a dozen different play structures in different areas. If there is a problem here is that there are so many play options that the kids dont want you stay in one area for long.

Several play structures catering to all ages, a man-made creek to splash in, and all in the shade...and this all in one small corner of this huge park. There is a skate park here as well if your heart can take it. We havent even began to fill explore Brook run, and it is already at the top of our favorite list. Even if it isnt close, this one is worth the drive.

Brook Run is the closest park to my home, and our family loves ithe park. It has an excellent playground and skate park. The park is a regular community venue for Dunwoody city events and food truck, music, and outdoor movie events. But one of the best features is the nature trail which is paved and connects to a neighboring park (Pernoshal).

Great park in Dunwoody that offers fun for all ages. Theres an artificial "Brook" that runs throughout the childrens area that kids are able to play in. Word of caution as kids will likely wipe out so have a towel and change if clothes in the car when visiting. Theres multiple play areas that cater to different age groups too.

A spacious, well-kept park. The dog run has two separate areas for small dogs (>25lbs) and large dogs, with the latter including a wooded area, paths, and plenty of benches. Can get crowded on the weekend, but youd really only know it from limited parking because the space itself is plenty for lots of dogs to run and play.

We really enjoy going to this park and playground. Lots of different playground sets for everyone and lots of different areas and activities. Plenty of close parking and it is a very safe playground because there is always lots of people there even in the later evening. On Thursday nights, they have music and food trucks.

I go here to power walk and jog, it is great! The only thing I dont like its there are no safety phones on the trail, so if something happens...... I would give it 5 stars if there were some kind of safety system. Also many people often have their dogs off there leash which is also dangerous.

This dog park is constantly undergoing remodeling its nice and obvious they give a hoot about this park. Nice Place to Bring Fuu-Fuu to Todo or Marly whatever you name that slobbery beast of a friend of yours!! lol. It has so many places and enclosed areas you can let your dogs run like a pack.

Awesome park for kids 2-12. Jungle gyms are all over the place and they even have a smaller section for the younger crowd. There is a skate park side as well. Cool bowls and inclines/declines with rails and places to sit for the old folks. Great place to be out and about with the family!

We love this park! Theres a wonderful walking trail when you want to get in a walk, and multiple stations with slides and other playsets for the kiddos. There are frequent events, food truck gatherings, and other stuff that just makes it a joy to drop in.

Great place to walk your dog, or just go for a walk. It is generally not too busy here but when the weather is nice plenty people are out to enjoy the park. Unfortunately some folks dont know how to keep the dog on a leash but it doesnt happen too often.

Very good. There are seperate Playsets for different ages. Lots of different playground for different plays. They have small waterfall amd small rivers for kids to play in summer. Have couple of picnic spot/gazebos for small parties. My kids loves it,

Large open fenced area with plenty of room for all dogs. Half is wooded and shaded with a mini walking trail and the other half is open. Well kept and clean. Water is available and so is a hose to wash tired, dirty dogs off after playtime.
