One of the best community theaters in the nation! The Ocala Civic Theatre hosts 8+ live productions of all varieties for crowds around 50,000 annually. In addition, the Ocala Civic Theatre offers a wide variety of educational programs, volunteer opportunities, and travel experiences. All ages are welcome and will enjoy the time they spend at the Ocala Civic Theatre.

The civic theatre fosters the idea of community, and Ive loved it because of that. Those who are involved in the show always put their best foot forward, volunteers are always screened and are quite friendly, and overall, the theatre is an enjoyable place to be.

Have attended a number of shows here and even had the opportunity to perform in the musical "Peter Pan" last spring. It is a beautiful place, with excellent shows.

Performance was great. The lack of stadium seating makes it very hard for kids to see. And as a shorter adult, you may have to find odd angles between heads.

Good quality live productions. Support the arts in your own community. Seats need updating but otherwise facility is clean and well kept. A family favorite.

They have great programs for kids after school throughout the year. We drive over an hour each week. Great staff and well organized!
