AWFUL - DIRTY - DUMP - FILTHY - STINKY - COSTLY GROSS FOOD - CREEPY - NO SHADE - PAY PARKING - RUDE EMPLOYEES - DISAPPOINTMENT - MISERABLE - TACKY - YUK !!! Dont waste your time and your money! The $5 ALL DAY parking fee is a joke, if you leave the park for even 5 minutes you must pay the $5 all day parking fee AGAIN, such a farce and a scam! And the food was awful, gross, very stingy, and expensive. We spent over $150 for gross food for four people and got practically nothing; the portions were pathetically tiny and tacky! I realize they have to make a money profit, but they are ridiculous! OVER PRICED and HUGH RIP-OFF for DISGUSTING tiny tidbits of burnt food! When we got our food we were shocked with disappointment! When I feed my cat I give her better food and bigger portions of food. If we went to a restaurant we would get more food and paid LESS. This tacky SunWest Park dump is nothing more than a money making garbage pit! This cesspool is in no way, shape, or form a beach. If someone has never been to a "real" beach I guess this man-made "beach" would "appear" to resemble a "nice" beach, but this dirty waterhole is in no way near to being a beach. I have been to several man-made "beaches" and they are very appealing, clean, safe, and lovely. But THIS "beach" is a stinky, tacky, dump with no lifeguards. Its just dirty stinky stagnant water surrounded by sand, nothing more and nothing less. Our family was extremely disappointed and disgusted with this "sinkhole" sewer dump! A backyard lake, river, or swimming pool is much better (and healthier) than this sorry dirty stagnant sewer! There is absolutely no shade anywhere, theres no place to go for shelter from the hot sun. The stagnant stinky water is very shallow, only about knee level. I saw a dirty SANITARY NAPKIN floating in the water, soooo gross! Whatever nasty thing goes in the water will STAY in the stagnant water. This is not a pool, so there is no chlorine or water cleaning chemicals, or disinfectant solutions; its just a dirty stagnant cesspool surrounded by sand! If you do go to this "cesspool" park, dont go in the water unless you want to find gross "surprises"; and the sand has filthy "surprises" too! These nasty "surprises" will bring a frown to your face! This sorry, tacky, filthy CESSPOOL does NOT even deserve one star! It deserves 5 poop symbols! STINKS - STANK - STUNK !!!

"WipeOut course"!!! Let me share somethings I wish I had known prior. PARKING: $5-please have payment ready as this took us 30 min to get in because people digging for change as they got to machine. Its 1 machine only and takes cash or card (no change given on cash). BEACH-water is warm. Swim area is from shore and goes out 10 feet (thigh high for adults). We brought umbrella and chairs as well as everyone else. Needle nose fish and large crabs shared the beach with us lol. FOOD- they had fresh snow cones, drinks and had a food truck. Prices were what you would expect if you were at a public beach. Suggest bringing a cooler though. AQUA PARK- wasnt too crowded. Was able to move around freely. Staff helps if you cant climb back on. Was pooped and tired after 20 min of hard play! Left our belongings on beach. You can see them from whole play area. BEGINNER WAKE CABLE-my 13 &11 year old boys did this 20 min class (they say an hour but its 20 min for 3 people in an hour slot time). This was enough time for them to learn and get cable time and was $20. Drove hour and half-will be back for sure!

Staff at the auqa park were unfriendly and rude. If you are a woman and are well endowed in the chest area the life jacket will make it extremely difficult to get up onto the platform. My sister and I went and were having issues getting up. One of the employes walks over to us with out us asking for help or advice and asks my sister "why cant you push up with your arms and kick with your legs?" yt? The life jacket had risen on her so far that her breasts were sticking out from under it. When my sister showed her and told her this she argued that this should not be a problem and made a comment on how she herself was petite. We got up and left and I went to talk to management and they tried to defend the employee. Mind you I wasnt asking for a refund just for her to be spoken to as that was out of line. They did transfer out money over to the kayaks which ended up being the best part of the place and the friendliest. Which is the only reason this place is getting 3 stars. I doubt Ill ever go back. The swimming water is pretty shallow and never found the 7 foot area.

This is a great new place in Hudson! Its affordable to visit and park your car ($5) and the extra amenities(kayaking, paddle boards, aqua park obstacle course) are priced within reason as well. Food vendors are also available. I have only tried the shaved ice and boy was it delicious! The couple downsides I saw at the moment were 1)the swim area is not very large so everyone is swimming close to each other and 2)there is only 1 large pavilion, so if you wanted to have a get together or party it may be difficult to catch that open. Maybe you can rent or block off the pavilion for special occasions. I would like to find that out :) There is a lot of room for growth within the coming months, but for now this is a great little place to go and catch some rays in the summer months and cool off in the freshwater!

The food was horrible people were rude for a crab and shrimp festival they were just a side option in a couple of stands theres nothing crab or shrimp about it for a Festival it is a tiny Carnival with sales stands let me emphasize the food was horrible no flavor and extremely overpriced $50 for a platter and something on a stick which was mostly stick!!! this is a place you do not want to follow the locals to the first terrible place Ive ever been to here in Florida their marketing agent should get a medal or an Emmie, something because it was 100% BS and a lot of people were sold on it... if you care about your weekend and your free time is precious to you do not make this mistake.

MY SON PAYED FOR HIS 45 MINS ON THE BLOW UP WATER PARK. HE WAS KICKED OUT 10 MINS INTO THE SESSION BECAUSE HE DID A FLIP. THEY SAID THE KIDS WERE TOLD NO FLIPPING OR DIVING BUT HE SWEARS HE DIDNT HEAR THEM SAY THAT. I WENT TO THE OFFICE TO ASK THAT THEY LET HIM BACK IN THEY SAID NO. SO I ASKED IF HE COULD HAVE HIS MONEY BACK THE MANAGER ALSO SAID NO TO THAT REQUEST. LOOK MY SON BROKE A RULE HE SHOULD OF AT LEAST GOT A WARNING. HE CAME OVER TO US UPSET OVER THE WHOLE THING AND TO TOP IT OFF THE MANAGER WOULD NOT EVEN COME SPEAK TO ME FACE TO FACE OUR CONVERSATION WAS DONE THROUGH AN EMPLOYEE. NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL. REMEMBER THESE ARE KIDS.
