I havent been to too many country clubs but this one seemed to be ok. Nothing really stood out like "oh dang thats nice" or "yo babe, check this out!" Type of feel. It was a classy joint. Came here for a wedding on a Saturday. The ceremony was outside with the golf course in the background. The acoustic sound was pretty good though, I have to say. Inside there were a series of rooms we meandered through for cocktails and appetizers. The main room was a long rectangular room probably about 60-75 yds long and 40 yds wide. One of the rooms that we walked through actually opened up joining the main room. They actually fit about 300 partiers in this room! I dont know how they did it but they made really good use of the space. Acoustics and sound was really good in here. Actually too good because we could hear a group living it up and toasting while the Best Man and Maid of Honor attempt to give their speeches. Food was good, service was good, and drinks were good.

Pro: Our Wedding day with Alyssas help was so beautiful, she is very knowledgeable she helped reduce the stress away on our wedding day. Big thanks to Alyssa she is the one you what for your wedding. Everyone are so helpful and friendly during our wedding. Con: Everything one told us the food were not very good. During our food tasting the chicken were everyone’s favorite, but everything were so dry on our big day. What bothers me the most which I had to find out from our guest after the wedding. During cocktail hour, the venue require mandatory $2 dollar tips for drinks even for the water. That’s so sad, we had first hour inclusive drink plus we pay few hundred for the guest for open bar. I Should had my guest worry about finding cash to pay for the mandatory tips that we didn’t even know about. We been to few wedding for friends and family, had never once they make us pay mandatory tips for the drinks. I am pretty upset how the venue operate on this aspect.

Course, staff, amenities are all first rate. Great range and locker room. Food quality varies and service can be spotty but I believe mgmt is aware of this and working on improving. Alfredo -the main man in the lower snack shack is worth his weight in Platinum. He knows how to treat people and is as warm and engaging a guy youll ever meet. Guys in pro shop are well versed and treat members very well.

The Old Ranch Country Club is a nice venue to host an event or wedding. The people who organize the parking are a bit snotty. They made us park across the street because we didnt have a vendor pass when they clearly had lots of parking in their lot. It was overcast so I didnt want to walk a block in the rain. I was a bit turn off by that. Would have enjoyed the venue more if it wasnt so gloomy and windy.

We had my moms 75th Birthdray party at Old Ranch C.C. Last night. Approximately 75 people. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, the view is gorgeous. Our guests were so happy with the food the grilled veggies, the salmon, the chicken and the shrimp rice was to die for. Highly recommended venue. Many of our guests said they will be using the country club for their future events. SUCCESS!!!!

Very well manicured and maintained course...OUTSTANDING atmosphere and service in the bar area...absolutely loved that there are no homes surrounding perimeter of course.
