Hamilton Galleries is in a beautiful location with stunningly gorgeous artwork. Although the work is inside of a gallery, walking through the space feels like youre right on the sand. The vibrant turquoises, hot pinks, and fresh yellows in many of the works creates an atmosphere of warm summer fun. The subjects depicted in the works range from playful representations to thoughtful meditations, but all are imbued with a so-cal vibe that puts the work in a very appropriate context. This gallery definitely captures the Santa Monica spirit!

Hamilton Galleries is gorgeous on all accounts. The location is breathtaking and the art is engaging and quirky. Set right on the beach in beautiful Santa Monica, Hamilton Galleries boasts an unbeatable panorama of the ocean. Like the view, the art within the gallery is fascinating and thoughtful. Warren Longs work is eclectic and whimsically provocative, and the other artists like Margaret von Biesen and Esau Andrade tie the space together with their individual charm and energy. Hamilton Galleries is a must-see in Santa Monica!

Hamilton Galleries is a beautiful art gallery. There is a diverse selection of artworks with all different shades of colors. Therefore there are things here that would please virtually anyones taste in art. The staff are nice so that helps make the gallery feel welcoming. The sun shines in through the windows during the day lighting up the art. Finally, it is at a great location at Ocean Ave. across from the Santa Monica Pier! So why not visit after or before your trip to the beach?

Hamilton Galleries is not only in a prime location (across the street from the beach and next to fine dining), but the art is a must see. From Realism to Abstract to Pop Art and more, the diverse collection will find an art connoisseur in anyone. I went to a book signing that turned into an acoustic guitar show as the night progressed. I had an amazing time and truly can not wait for their next event!

Owner Leigh Hamilton is the the best kind of curator - she has faithfully promoted and built the careers of Southern California artists like Dan Van Clapp, Warren Long, Margaret von Biesen, Esau Andrade, Andrea Zuill and many others. Beautiful array of paintings, every time I come here I break into a smile: the pieces are witty, provocative, thoughtful, and boldly executed with masterful technique.

Hamilton Galleries is a great gallery for people visiting from out of town. It has a real feeling of the beach lifestyle of sunny southern California. The art is colorful and fun. A lot of animals, surfers, sailboats, swimmers, coastlines of Malibu in the paintings. A good way to take away a piece of California with you is to buy a piece of art from this gallery. Hope you go and visit!

Love this little gallery. It has heart. I personally love the Warren Long beach scapes, animals and crosses. The gallery also houses other artists of note including Esau Andrade. Home decorating with art has changed the look and feel of every room in my house. What a difference art makes!

A great place at an incredible location; the colorful, and very often beach inspired artwork is an awesome way to begin or end a trip to the beach. every time i visit i am always very warmly greeted, and lit up by the bright, playful works, definitely a must see whenever youre in santa monica

First of all the location is amazing, so convenient and beautiful with the sweeping ocean views. The owners and staff are very friendly, this gallery isnt pretentious at all! The collection of works by mostly local artists is colorful, eclectic and imaginitive. A real treat for the eyes!
