My Family has been going to Pecks Park way before the Apts.showed up. And the trail was much longer and spookier around dusk. My brother (Chris) John Dollard of Myers point, OR. We both had a lot of fun at this park. A lot of picnics and going swimming and playing basketball and hide and seek with Chris and other kids who were there. There was a Jack in the box restaurant across the street. And we would go get shakes and have some food and then go for a walk on the paths.I had good times with my brother and Mom at this park. I grew a lot. Almost every weekend when we were young we went to Pecks Park in San Pedro,CA..I look back in all the fun I had with my family. My Mom. Ima Jean Inez(Davidson) MADDIN. Ahhh peck park literally a steps away from where I live. Many good experiences here. Beware though people there is a sign that says mountain lions are around. Please listen to this sign my girlfriend and I decided to stay past the open time once as we sat in a bench. We walked away and as we got near the wooden fence I felt some thing was staring at us and as I turn back I see a big cat prowling around. Definetly not a dog and definetly not my overweight cat. Stay safe out there. It is literally a forest in our back yards.

A multi-purpose park facility in the heart of NW San Pedro. The playground, pool, gym, and tennis courts are very popular, and the auditorium grounds host government and recreational events year-round. A full concrete skatepark is the newest feature, and is in constant shred mode. There are some maintenance and cleanliness issues, but the Rec & Parks staff is responsive and realistic about what they can handle with the available resources.

Surprisingly very large, beautiful green terrain and luscious forest within, you feel like youre in a different world when you take the path. Depending what type of season you visit its either beautifully green or majestic brown willows everywhere. I highly recommend it its perfect for family friends and specially long romantic walks even a nice dog walk.

Yeah no shade on the equipment even the kids hide under slides for shade. There is a skate park here and lots of space for parties. Just beware its a public park and the restrooms are VERY NEGLECTED. I posted the pics it looks like something from a scarry movie. Yuck.

Lots of cats running around the park. Newer playground equipment but with no shade the equipment is to hot to enjoy. Bathrooms are always in need of a cleaning.

Nice staf beautiful pool and they have a outdoor ping pong table you can play on made of cement. Its interesting.
