My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time at Holman Cellars! Ive grown up with a wino of a father and have been frequenting wine tastings for over a decade. Im use to going to some pretty "proper" tastings where you feel like youre tasting for a somelier exam (and no where near prepared for it). Holman Cellars is NOT that type of winery. Theyre approachable without sacrificing on knowledge. It was like sitting with old friends over a glass of wine while learning about the different tasting notes and wine making process. It was an enriching experience that I wont soon forget. My father and his fiance went a few months after I did and I made sure he squeezed in time for Holman, since it would be a new type of wine experience for him. My father, the wine snob, enjoyed Holman as well who even had a little celebratory engagement cake waiting for him. I cant recommend this place enough for wine fans both old and new who are looking for a tasting experience more intimate and laid back than what youre use to.

Wow, my husband and I spent a long weekend in Napa and visited many wineries. This was our last stop on the way out of town and I have to say, it was by far the best place we visited! It is not a heavily decorated tourist attraction which my husband I appreciated. We called and made our reservation the day before. When we arrived, John met us with a smile. My brother had visited this winery several years ago and has always raved about the wine. I am so glad we decided to stop here on our way home.It was such a personal experience and we look forward to stopping in again when we are in the area. Thank you Holman Cellars!

I had a great tasting at Holman Cellars! Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Delicious wine, super easy to get to, and the tasting room is very cool and well decorated. Plus it is located in the same room as where the wine is make so you get to see how it is produced first hand. Jason was friendly and very informative not just about his own wines, but also the wider Napa Valley, and other producing countries, especially France.
