This year will be my kids’ third year at PAW, and every year they have LOVED it. The first year they did Sound of Music and the second year the Snow Queen. Every morning started out with theater games and lots of interactive and fun activities, led by the singing, acting, and dancing teachers who were able to bring out the funny, cooperative, and happy sides of these campers. As the days went on my kids would get their roles then gradually learn the assigned lines and songs, and every night we would be entertained by the dances and songs theyd learned during the day. Clearly they were not only learning theater skills but also having a really great time. Even though my kids have very different dispositions, theyve each gotten great experiences from PAW. One is outgoing and loves being the center of attention - she is a natural performer who was in her element at theater camp. The other is introverted and shy and never wanted a solo on stage, but through PAW she learned to speak loudly and become more expressive in front of an audience. I also appreciate PAW for teaching my kids on how to work as part of an ensemble, with other kids ages 4-14, where they learned to appreciate every part of the show no matter how big or small the role. They cant wait to go back this summer. Thank you PAW!

I wanted to find a local summer acting camp on the west side of Los Angeles for my god-daughter who just turned 11. She is enamored with acting and singing so I wanted to get more information about the local summer camps in the area. I called Performing Arts Workshops as I was referred by a friend from Redondo Beach, who said they had camps throughout Los Angeles. I called and spoke with Lisa in the office. I had a zillion questions as I was referred through my friend but did not know of the many programs available. Lisa was so patient with me, answered all my questions, and educated me on the many camps available. Lisa coached me through the process of making sure I discussed the options with my God Daughter; and after doing so, she is thrilled to be starting the musical theatre camp of Snow Queen at the end of July! She is so excited, and I am too. : )

Our oldest child has repeatedly attended PAW over the last 7 years or so to her and our great delight. Weve found the staff to be warm, responsible and effective in guiding the children in acting, dancing and singing their way through a richly rewarding collaborative experience. Staff consistently bring such enthusiasm in sharing the excitement of putting together a show and the kids seem to really love the opportunity to learn, play and perform with old and new friends. Pick up and drop off protocol along with overall supervision is taken seriously and handled responsibly. We love PAW!!! Mr & Mrs. Gregory Vahanian

AMAZING CAMP!!! My two sons have attended these camps for years. The performances are truly unique. The staff are wonderful. And my kids have fun! I love that my older son went from being shy to being comfortable in front of a crowd of people. My younger son, already a ham, got more from the weeks of enunciation drills than from a year in speech therapy. And what I most loved was the sheer creativity. They were encouraged to pretend, to improvise, to make things up. And then they got to do it in costumes. PAW made my sons summers magical.

This will be my daughters first year attending for photography. We are looking forward to the program. The locations and scheduled days and time for all of the programs make it so easy to find something that will work for me and my schedule and anyone that will be helping me take my daughter to her classes. I love that extended hours are offered because I know it will be hard to pull her away. Everyone that Ive spoken with up to this point has been incredibly helpful and amazing to speak with.
