I couldnt have been happier with my experience at Dark Horse. Excellent course, a tough test of golf to be sure, but very fair, some risk/reward, well placed shots will allow you to score. Missed shots youre going to pay the penalty. The locals I teemed up with said the course was in a bit of rough shape, but to me it seemed really nicely maintained. Every green was cut the same, very fast, but rolled true without wobbles and random bumps. Pro shop staff and starter were very friendly, many people thanked me for coming out to play. GPS in the cart was accurate. I highly recommend taking the drive to play here, Ill definitely be back.

Amazing golf course. I went in the summer months last year and i could not be happier with the course. Very difficult but fair course. During the summer months the greens and fairways are gorgeous and green with all the dead grass outside the rough. Went when they had a tournament and go to play after the tourney for just $25 with a cart and a spectator. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. Playing there again next week when i head up from Socal.

If you read the 1st 2 reviews of this course, they are exactly my experience. If you cant put drives and approach irons somewhere close to what you want, it wil be a long day of beautiful hole design and vistas. I love the greens. If you read them at the right speed and break, they will give you the putt on a pro like green.

Excellent course layout and maintained very well. Hole 2 is awful but other than that it is a great course. The clubhouse is small, and combined pro shop with reasturant. They give you a token for about 45 range balls but you get to hit off grass. They need to install a sign that gives distances to the targets.

Played this course for in mid-October for only $49 and our foursome loved it. A beautiful layout, perfectly maintained, with incredibly fast greens. Recommend this course highly, it easily compares with $75-$125 tracts.
