DO NOT RENT FROM THIS VENUE, its a scam. I rented the Portuguese Hall for cinco de mayo, 5/8/17. The president Mike Alves is refusing to give me my $1000 down deposit back. I cleaned the hall the night of the event, and re-cleaned the hall the morning after with a cleaning service. I was told by members of the Hall that the cleaning was complete and my down deposit was being returned. I would like the contact information from other members of the Hall to complain about the disrespect from the president Mike Alves. He is not returning any of my calls or text messages, after stating that he will not return any money to me. This place will scam you for your money, do not trust this venue.
