I was very disappointed with my time at Bella Vista this past week. I have played here several times and never ran into any problems… That being said, this time was totally different.My friend booked a time for us on Golf now. Paid the booking fee on line and was told that we would pay for the round when we got to the club. OK!…Great! Not a problem with that at all. We were early for our tee time and decided to putt for a bit. Our tee time came and we were told that we had to go off the back - again - we had no problem with that. We hooked up with two other players who were so slow and bad and actually left the course after driving on the 13th hole - (to get a few beers and a bite to eat) and they didnt even say anything to us. (Go figure)… so we continued with our round - we finished in good time and when we came around to play the front 9 we were told that we would have to wait about 10 - 15 minutes because a "group" was going to play before us. OR if we wanted we could tee off again on the back nine but needed to wait for the others finishing up the front. What the heck we waited a few minutes to see how quickly this "Group" was going to play…. it took the first 4 some 20 minutes to go to the second shot. It was going to be a long long wait We asked the starter to please let us go out before the "group" as there was no one in front of this group of SLOW players. He refused (i think because we were two ladies) so we went to the pro shop and the man behind the counter basically ignored us and told us that this was a public course and sometimes it gets backed up. We asked for a 9 hole coupon but instead he gave us credit for 14.00 which was half of the golf now fee for the round. Not only was this man rude (he did not even look at us) he did not satisfy our request which was totally reasonable. As far as I am concerned they can take the 14. receipt and shove it… This was a horrible experience when all we wanted to do was enjoy a nice afternoon of golf …. I used to be very happy at Bella Vista but no longer. I have to mention that the starter was not the usual starter who I know would have made sure that we were treated correctly.

I dont know why I keep coming back here. Every time I do, my tee time gets moved around without my consent and I still end up waiting 10+ minutes from their proposed time to tee off. There is a complete lack of starter influence as the entire front nine is backed up every weekend, making the starter nothing more than a grandpa with a clipboard. For such an expensive greens fee, youd think the service overall would be better. Instead, its lackluster. Its a good course overall, but theres never any concern to show up on time - making this course a joke every time

I played here in a league for the summer of 2016. The course was in impeccable shape throughout the whole summer. Fairways are lush and the greens soft, however pretty quick. Great layout not to hard for the hacker like me but challenging enough for the more experienced player. Best value around for any golf course in the area. Great Job guys keep it up!

One of my favorites in the area. Always in good shape, some great holes, and difficulty is fair. The island green par 3 is obviously the signature hole, which adds some drama to the round, and the food and drink options afterwards are solid as well. Only complaint is pace of play can get slow at times... not a big deal on a public course.

I played Saturday and the greens were airated the previous Monday. They should have posted this on website. I drove an hour to play at what is usually an excellent course. Very disappointing and given all the excellent public courses within an hours drive that always post airation alerts I will not be returning to this course.

Ok lay out with several elevation changes. Difficult sloping greens that are often elevated from approach. Good conditioned and staffed facilities. Can be difficult for higher handicap golfers causing slow rounds. Thick rough that swallows balls.

Outstanding views and a great course to play. Rangers made sure that slower players kept up the pace. Food terrific on the patio outside the bar. Staff very accommodating. We had 18 seniors playing here. Definitely play here again.

Typically a great lay out but the ruff was way over grown, the greens were air raided, the conditions around the greens were terrible as well. That being said i still love the course it was just in bad shape this time around.

Nice layout and well conditioned. Good variety of holes. Better course when starting on #10 with #8 and #9 as finishing holes. They are the two best holes on the course. Unfortunately there is no driving range.

Dinner service was painfully slow, my extra rare steak came out medium. When the waitress brought out desert menus, we joked that it would be morning when we got what we would have ordered, We skipped desert.
