I hadnt played "Walter" for about ten years, but playing conditions Friday (12/27) were surprisingly good. It hasnt rained much this year, but the course wasnt backed up, it wasnt freezing, there were only a couple of places where the course was soggy. It was a great outing and treat for my brother-in-law from San Diego.

Such a beautiful course. They have a nice putting practice green, a driving range and a chipping area The fairways are kept mowed, and the greens are well groomed. There are some challenging holes like the rock on 12 but nothing that cant be done. Well worth the drive out there to play.
